Morning metal friends! Hope everyone is well today!
Freeze - I LOVE a good chili, yum! I'm growing my own chilis at the moment, hopefully I get lots of nice spicy chilis after my plants flower
MG - it is so worth going to the UK, absolutely wonderful. Paris is amazing too, just the fact it is a pretty dirty city can be a bit of a shock. But the sights to see are fantastic.
I probably should be keeping a closer eye on my toast, my cat is trying to steal it LOL!

I have heard of it but I have not read it. I do not know if it is an "official" biography or not. I should think that, regardless, if there are stories in it that are unflattering to the Band, there still may be some truth to them. Hard to say.

Have a great Sunday Defenders!

By the way, and for something completely different from what's been going on in the thread: Has anyone bought/read Martin Popoff's book on the Priest: "Judas Priest: Heavy Metal Painkillers" ?

There's some stories in there that I don't know whether to believe or not. Any thoughts on this?

A fine Sunday morning to you all!! Feeling a little down as my Alma Mater was destroyed yesterday by Villanova in the tournament. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted! VERY windy here in Vegas today. Expecting a storm and 40 mph winds!!!!! I am going to cook a pot of chili and watch the tourney! Perhaps there will be a crazed MetalHead or two out there to chat with during the day..? HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In that situation you have to put the childs needs above your own. Not to say I have never been an ass about it. when it was new I was not adjusting well at all, but now, I feel it is the most natural and healthy thing for her. Heck even me and my X can sit and have dinner together and never get on each other's nerves.
Time heals everything.

That's great that even though you and your daughters father may not get along, you still have good ties with the rest of his family and it's also great your daughter can go there every year to spend time with that side of her family. Sounds like it all works out pretty well.

Yep, and my daughter goes there almost every year. She gets to be with her family there. That is awesome! I wish they would come this way every now and again more often, because, I divorced my husband not his family, and I am still considered by my neice and nephew their aunt. They still love me and the family still loves me. I just couldn't get along with their son, brother whatever.  I still have good ties with the family there.

That's awesome that you had family there, like you said, it gives you a special experience most people don't have!
