Good Morn, Today Is not a holiday in Canada,, last monday was our celebration.. of the dearly departed,,,
But I always think of My Uncle on this day who has passed on, He was a medic in world war 2, and had to help both sides, he was given many gifts even from german soldiers for saving their lives, I have a authentic world war 2 german dagger, that was given to him, for saving a life during that time. along with all the gifts the american soldiers had given him, I loved hearing the stories, from him, since he was there... He Is missed by all in the family.
Blessed are we all to have such brave men/women in our countries.
~MG~
Have a wonderful day

Hrmph... I will skip the memorial day thingy... We have our own holiday today. Or we would have, if our old country was still together.
So, to all 20 million, in all six republics, I wish a happy youth day, for what its worth, in hopes that we can keep ourselves from blowing eachother to bits for at least a few more decades.
Also explains a little modification to my profile:) |

I think that reckless driving is pretty much a south European thing, tho. Germans and Austrians drive very well. Very disciplined there, and whats more interesting, there is almost no police on the roads there. Over here, there is a police stakeout everywhere you look. In Italy, the traffic policemen stand by the road, watch the mayhem, and do nothing.

I'll just stick to my feet and tour buses off continent. HA!! I did drive around Accapulco with two gay hairdressers from Texas and that way loads of fun. Seems safer to be in the car than be a pedestrian there. Of course this was Years ago, maybe something has changed.

Judging from the reaction here, I think they will be playing to an empty house whilst the beer tents and tour parafanalia is being hit hard. There won't be anyone there to BOO them! LMAO, just the Crickets! [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by ~ MG_Metalgoddess~ from Sunday, May 24, 2009 1:15:01 PM)

Thanks but it sounds like YOU need more luck!
All I want is to find even an internet video feed of the game. Anyone have that 411, do tell! Otherwise, I am stuck in XM-landia again trying to imagine the hits. But I believe her friend has plans to come back over today, which probably means I'll have her come Monday morning. Doy! or however Homer would say it.
Still looopy? Sorry about that. It can't go on forever, It has to level off soon enough. Not much consolation now though I'm sure.
Good luck with your wings game! | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Doin' as well as can be expected, my friend. These new meds have me feeling pretty loopy and the back of my leg is still all torn up but on the mend. Just waiting around for the Wings game that, sadly, I think I'll have to be listening to on XM as I don't get the stupid "VS" channel.
Howse youse? Survive the sleepover? | | spapad wrote: | | Getting a bit cloudy and threatening rain here today as well. That's OK! It's warm, I'll take it! How are you Guid? | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Ahhh......rainy day here. Good to veg out and tend to wounds. |
