Aw Thanks  I like to spoil the hell out him, and his Brother...   We went to a 80th birthday party for a aunt last summer...

And I sat with Keelan, and Athen.. Keelan is 5 athen 10, keelan has the diabeties..anywase they were serving this god aweful homemade grandma punch, and neither boys liked it.. so I snuck out and bought them some real juice and coke a cola.. put it in my purse  and we were drinking it at our table... LOL  I thought for christ sake they had nothing there for kids but they had alot of kids there... then were serving escartgo, or however the hell you spell it..

I lied and kellan blood sugar was low and we went out for pizza,,,, BUAHHHHHH...  Iam the one that got them both into Metal.

Ac/Dc Priest, maiden,  Athen borrowed my Sabbath heaven and hell dvd, and hid it from his mom, and I borrowed him my travel dvd player, with ear phone,, so he could watch it.... MUAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....

Thanks He doesnt even mind having his finger poked.. He just holds out his hand and says Ready..... Then he wants to read the numbers and says of Iam 25 points low/High,,,  he knows and hes only 5... Damm I know alot of adult who arent that keen on that stuff.. LOL

And then he comes up to me and says ... I feel a little low.. can I get some orange juice... he knows his body that well allready,.,,,  So I always try to keep juice boxes ect.... My Nephew was having seizures, hes going on 6 now,, they meds they had him on  Knocked him out .. he was sleepy all the time... Turned out he had diabeties, and  it was caused by a virus that attacked his pancreas.  and the tests were not indicating anything correctly, so they had to get him well enough and then monitor his blood sugar from that point on, and it was never right,  so he has to get shots 4 times a day,   poor little guy... but he takes it like a trooper.,,

Monday thru Friday)  are akin to what you may have seen in the movie  "Groundhog Day."     A lot of the same things happen, but with slightly different results....there's precious little variation to my days.    I try to throw the proverbial 'wrench'  to make SOMETHING interesting happen...but, it doesn't always work....lol.     That's why I always say...thank God for vacations...I might not go anywhere special, but at least I get to spend time and do things with people I don't always get to devote...my family.

But...that's not what I'm here to talk about....I'm here to say to the following:

Guido:   I hope whatever happened to you has Godspeed resolve and was just some fluke thing.     It must've been pretty scary stuff at the time, but to echo what's been said,  I'm glad you're on the mends...just listen to what the docs tell ya, and look after yourself well.

MG:   I'm glad you kept your chin and upper lip stiffened to the horseshit that occasionally creeps up in here and that you stuck around.     The ones who come along and opt to make trouble and stir shit will never last the test of time.    The faithful and the otherwise GOOD people this site has conjured will always have another home of sorts here, and will always welcome any/all others who contribute to said home...new members and veteran alike.

Joe D:   I hope whatever had you so cramped up recently is a thing of the past.     Lord knows you've got too full a plate to be sidelined by anything you don't have the time or energy for.      Continue making the most of what each day offers and don't spread yourself so thin!

There....I think I've sufficiently caught myself up a bit...if I missed anything....umm.....if it was something bad, I hope it's all good now....if it was something good or outstanding, I say  EXCELSIOR!!!        Y'all know who you are and which of those best apply....

Especialmente ataque #2 en el hospital. Los médicos me dijeron que fue aún peor que la primera pero de la misma manera si me dijeron que comí un zapato, no lo dudaría. Pues, el problema es que vivo en el medio de absolutamente nada. Campo, campo y más campo y una de las restricciones que me dieron es que no puedo manejar por tres meses. Interesante combinación, ¿eh?  Pues, haré lo que puedo.

ARGH Joe I've had stomach cramps like that before! I woke in the middle of the night and feck me I was in pain! You need to take it easy too I reckon.

Thanks, all. Absolutely surreal experience. Nope, MG, no diabetes but you know all about my sleep troubles. Father has apnea, his sister, my mother has serious sleep troubles as does my own sister. I had been sleeping only an hour or two (max) the previous few nights. As I said, I was at the gym trying to run myself sleepy.

Man, I wish I had a copy of the vid. You should have seen me hit! I have never seen my elbow blacker (don't know WHAT I hit) and the back of my leg is all scraped off (probably from the treadmill). I seriously do NOT remember walking out of the gym but it is there in the video. I thought they carried me on a stretcher.

They now have me on something called Keppra. Worst part is that they say no driving for three months. Try THAT in way rural America. Especially with work and three Priest concerts coming up. Nope, don't see that happening. About to go out and finish mowing the lawn, in fact. Finished three of four hours the day I crashed. No worries, I'll drive slowly!

OMG,    well Iam glad they have you on  a medication,   with working out your  Potassium level  was prob really low,  even though you were not dehydrated....    And no history of diabeties???  Well you know about the medical aspect well,  and the muscle aches are usuaaly from when the siezure happens and all you muscles tighten up , clenched fists ect...    How much sleep are you getting?????   and then you told me you have sleep apnea..?????.  My dad had a siezure , ( but he was asleep)  and the doctors told him people who have sleep apnea, are prone to siezures, weather they are asleep or not,  because the brain becomes exhausted, from lack of rest/ oxygen, and eventually  just says to the body.... I cant do this anymore.....   Did you tell them you have the apnea???? 

Sorry for all the questions,, Iam just concerned..   

I mean  Are us Priest girls going to have to come there and whip your little butt in shape!!!!!  LOL

Were you feeling ill or tired leading up to the seizure? Thank God that their was an emergency room so close by. This is a no-brainer but I'm going to say it anyway, please, please rest and take it easy until your check up. That means no working out and no running! (I know this is hard to stop doing something that you love but it may just be wise until you find out exactly what caused the seizure.)

Also fantastic news that it's not a tumor.

Absolutely NO history of it in my family. Got me on anti-seizure drugs now. They did run a whole battery of tests from EEGs to CatScans etc. No brain tumor. That is a good thing. Their best guess now is that it was a provoked seizure due to lack of sleep. The gym is 24hours and has cameras all over the place. I saw my vid yesterday. Man, did I hit HARD! Kinda blurry and hard to see but about a mile into a run you see me go down with EMS running in almost immediately afterwards as they are housed right across the street. I barely remember the event and certainly don't remember a thing about the second that happened in the hospital. Really odd. Just a fuzzy "coming to" where it dawns on me that I am in the Intensive Care Unit.

I have a follow-up in a couple of weeks. Right now, every muscle in my body hurts. They gave me some stat where normal muscle protein hovers around 100 and mine hit 1300+. Yikes. No wonder I hurt all over.

Good morning Defenders!!

Phew! I'm recovering from the most intense stomach cramps this morning. I woke up late (very, very unusual for me) managed to get the kids to school and got home.. Started cramping up and lay on the bed in feotal position. Kinda felt like a combo of giving birth or death.. I was sort of praying for death after a while lol. Craig sauntered into the bedroom after a relaxing shower and says 'you don't look too good' I felt so shite I couldn't even respond. 
I honestly haven't felt that much pain in years.. it really felt like labour pains! Craig was concerned only after he'd noticed that I was pale, covered in sweat and hadn't moved for an hour.. Men.. if I had died I think he'd only have noticed when decomposition set in or if the kids weren't home from school yet lol.

Anyways, mysteriously cramps have eased off, still feeling a tad shakey and like I've survived some sort of inner struggle with my body but thankfully I'm able to sort of attempt some of the tasks I've got scheduled for today.

Very, very mysterious this whole thing.

The sacrifices we make for Priest lol.. I think this is better.  I have to stare at a computer screen for way too many hours so it gets dificult to differentiate with the colours. It all becomes a blur after a while. That's probably why I still hand write most of my shorter articles and then type them out on pc later on. I sent Mr. Francis all my error codes from my browser as it seems to have many issues with this board right now. So hopefully I'll get this resolve with simple fixes on my side or he will get this resolved with "fixes" on his side.  I wouldn't mind it so bad if I didn't have to keep clearing out my errors section.
