Sounds great JJ, 'cept I think the Flyers have a lock on 'Living on a Prayer' since at least the OT shootout victory over NY to end the season. Only Montreal's story compares. Coming back from being down 0-3 in the series prior to win was nothing short of unbelievable. These are to great stories getting ready to go at it, and this being the FINALS, everything's 'out the window' and it's game on!! We're gonna have a great time watching this series!! I've always said and will continue to say that no athlete is above the law...no matter the crime nor the cause...Patrick Kane is no different than anyone else and is to uphold the law, as any good citizen would do. This makes absolutely no sense and I hope it's not true, but if it is...
...true, I would hope that Gary Bettman will take a look at what Roger Goodell has done in the NFL and make a statement that this type of conduct will not be tolerated by anyone associated with the NHL. I would imagene that NHL contracts have Personal Conduct clauses in them as do the other major sports leagues...I would suggest ALL the Commisioners take such conduct seriously and discipline accordingly!!!

That whole situation stinks to high Heaven. Tallon was let go because of an "orginizational mistake"...he took the fall for failing to make qualifying offers to restricted free agents before the deadline. That it was Bowmans' kid that replaces him is what stinks. Not that he's not capable of fufilling the position, but because Tallon did nothing to deserve to lose it. He put this great young team together, and now he's accepted some other position along with an additional 2 year extension (Tallons contract was to expire after next season). Shady politics...it is Chicago!!!
The contract that Hossa signed is front loaded, so they will have no problem re-signing their core group of young players...but the length is absurd!!!
