What really bothers me is this, when given a chance to take the "high" road or the "low" road, you "choose" to take the "low" road. And you are an attorney no less (does not surprise me one bit). Did you bother to call live-nation to inform them of the misprint? What was there response? Was there a disclaimer on the ticket (or website) indicating times subject to change without notice? Mr. Attorney, was there INTENT to DECIEVE the paying customer? Can you prove INTENT? I am a Union contract negotiator and I can tell you (though you already know this), that there HAS to be INTENT TO DECIEVE!!! A simple post to let Fans know of your unfortunate experience and to notify the ticket broker of the problem would be FAIR and RESPECTABLE. Hell, they may have even done something for you as well as offer an apology. Did you give them the chance? Money for nothing... |

I wholeheartedly agree. Thankfully, it didn't happen to me but I would certainly be pissed off had I missed my fav group because of a botched up event time. It is certainly not the BAND's fault nor would I as a fan make it my #1 priority to double-check a time or date on a ticket for accuracy!
Personally, I WOULD hold LiveNation responsible and see nothing wrong with a post here or on any of the other band's noticeboards. How else would a person know how many others were affected? I say, more power to ya'!

I did not plan to be out of work to be at the show as early as 5:30 - so I missed testament. while i was at the show, i bumped into a guy who had a similar problem - and who traveled many miles just to see testament. Needless to say, he was very pissed. If it happened to me - and it happened to him - i'm willing to be it happened to alot of people. Now, I'm a loyal priest fan, and I have no interest in suing priest.
