I'm just saying that it adds nothing.
Some people think that it makes the instrument sound "better", but they're not LISTENING, they simply add effects because "that's what your supposed to do" - without actually listening to hear if the instrument even needs it, or if it benefits from the added effect.
It's a waste as far as I'm concerned because if it sounds good already,the effects just kill it.
It would be an entirely different matter if the guys voice sucks, but in this case (Rob Halford's), it doesn't. The guy is one of the best.
