Exactly what I am doing, since I had such a poor trick or treater turn out. The live feed on the internet is really boring. Couldn't even hold my daughter's attention. LOL [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Deep Freeze from Friday, October 31, 2008 6:52:37 PM)

HA!!!! I never had a pearl but I do like oysters!! Redondo is a cool place. Huntington is my hometown. I loved it there. It has changed so much, it does not even look like the same town!!!! Anyway, I believe it is time to get supper ready! Watching the "Ghost Hunters" special on Sci Fi Channel. Oh MAN!! What a PHONY show!!! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Halloween entertainment , though!

I've been to Huntington Beach several times before. The sunsets there are beautiful!! My family and I also visit Redondo Beach every once in a while as well. There's an oyster shop at the Redondo pier where you can buy a live oyster and open it to get the pearl inside. I've never opened one, but it looked pretty cool! I grew up in So Cal and surfed most of my early years. My grandmother owned a small coffee shop across from the pier in Huntington Beach. I saw sharks all the time but they never bothered us. Of course, I never encountered a Great White!! HA!!!!!!!!!!!! Saw dolphins all the time, too. They were cool.

I would still crap on my surf board... yep it is a dolphin... when you disect it like that... LOL

Actually my dear, that is a dolphin not a shark. You can tell by the shape of the dorsal fin and, if you look closely, the tail fin is horizontal not verticle, indicating a mammal.
