I was in a town in outback Australia.... (Obviously with lack of recycling services) this one couple had built a house out of old glass bottles and other pieces of scrap metal... It looked awesome, they even built a dog house out of old beer bottles. Hahaha not that i'm suggesting you do that.......... Batteries? HAA! Plastics? Forget it. GLASS??? I'd have to drive 2.5 hours to have a hope of finding some place to take such items. Been driving around for a week+ with a ton of cardboard products in my car as there is now one place 20 minutes from here that will take it...only during certain hours.
