Not to sh*t all over your love for Ghost Hunters, DF...but I've seen this show on more than a few occasions with the ex-wife. It's pretty hokey if you ask me. I do not believe and will not believe in such supernatural occurances until I have definitive proof saying otherwise. Then again, I don't believe we're alone in this galaxy...so, what do I know? Not familiar with the first one but, it is nothing like "Ghost Whisperer"! That is a phony, drama series with actors and a script. Ghost Hunters is an actual business (TAPS) that do this as a "service" for people. The two main characters are actually plumbers during the day for a well-known company here called "Roto Rooter". It is not a written series like 'Whisperer.

Ah - guessing is like 'Supernatural' or 'ghost whisperer'

Ghost Hunters is a television show here in the states (I believe the UK has something similar called "Ghost Adventures"?) Anyway, it is a group of paranormal investigators that go places and try to prove or disprove "hauntings". They use electronic equipment; thermal imaging cameras, night vision, digital recorders and so on, and try to see if they can get strange occurances on tape. There are no "psychics" or "mediums" or any of that silliness. Just scientific equipment. It is an interesting show if you can get past the goofiness of it all and let yourself go.
It airs on Wednesday nights so I usually record all the episodes and watch them Thursdays. Some of the stuff is fairly entertaining. Some is rather useless. It is a nice escape and a unique show. They approach it as a "reality" show, so there is no lame dialogue or stiff acting (for the most part). Certainly better than more than half of what television offers these days! I enjoy it. Anyway, getting ready to start the next episode so I am off. I will check in later!
