But if it was mine, I actually do not remember the article, but his comment stuck with me.

That was right around the time Rob quit chemicals (per se). I LOVE DOTF. But I does have "kind" of a depressing theme.
I personally could get real mellow listening to Night comes down, Heads, HD/DOTF even sentinel. Not that the music doesn't have power - it does. It is just emotional. (Especially AFTER a few scotches ;-> )
I've never heard that anywhere, sure would like to see your source. Just to be clear. Not that I don't believe you, but I do like to see it in print from a reliable source. Thanks!

Ian Hill said this right after finishing the "Defender's of the Faith" tour regarding the album.
BTW - This Outlook/view from Ian and IF shared by the rest of the band, (and what ever chemicals they may have been involved in), could have been an influence as to why Turbo was so "UPPY" in content.
Just my thoughts.
