Check out some of the earlier albums. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I got into Judas Priest in 1980.
Their sound was pretty much developed by this time. Even though each album has it's own distinct style to it, and
they progress each time out, the early albums were the basis of that progression. The formulative years so to speak.
They have a very diverse style to them. Maybe not the Priest sound that most are used to but very good music
none the less.[Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Nicky007 from Friday, February 26, 2010 7:47:28 AM)

Yippee, I just got the remastered Ram It Down and Turbo for in all 120 Dkr, about 22 US $.
There are some benefits to living in a country of metal ignoramuses.
So my order is currently:
1. Nostradamus
2. Angel Of Retribution
3. Demolition
4. Jugulator
5. Painkiller
6. Ram It Down
7. Turbo
Anyone said "Judas Priest get better and better with every album" ?
I can of course hear the difference between Rob and Ripper, but I like'm both a lot, and I find Dem and Jug terrific albums
