!!  Ah ha ha,well your right about some things...it does have not "good" vocals but "great" vocals and it has TOP notch guitar solos, excellent bass by the best bass player on the planet hands down, great drums by Nicko but you can keep on thinking that this track sounds like a cross between Hallowed Be Thy Name and The Trooper because I already know I'm not the only one who thinks it sounds NOTHING like those songs at all, that track in my opinion is an under-par song by what should be a great song writting band.

This is all opinions, nobody wins in the end but if we had a vote on this sounding like Hallowed Be Thy Name mixed with The Trooper I'd bet 98% of people would think that it certainly does not.  You go ahead and love thier new stuff but I'm not the only one who thinks this band has lost a step.

Even people at my work who are not a part of this forum think that Iron Maiden's newer era material is definately not as good quality as thier 80's stuff,it is what is is guy, this also doesn't make these people right,oh no not at all,as I said its all opinions. If you like the newer Maiden stuff then it "IS" great in your mind case closed. But if you want to talk about percentages then at least I'd probably say that 85% of people do not care for thier newer stuff,it just is what it is.

Same with Judas Priest man although Angel Of Retribution kicks ass and is to me the band's 5th best album of all time, many people think that thier best work is from 1976 to 1990 as the Ripper albums and Nostradamus doesn't come close.Jackylone would beg to differ with us I know(lol!) but the truth is that the majority of people like the older stuff.

The big match up is comparing the new Iron Maiden album "The Final Frontier" with the next Judas Priest album and let me tell you that I don't think Iron Maiden is going to beat Judas Priest on an opinon percentage with thier next LP and I don't think the band plans on doing another Nostradamus so Maiden is probably and I underline "probably" going to be crushed to death by this next Judas Priest studio album.Priest can come out of nowhere and thump the heaviest album you've ever heard while there is NO WAY Iron Maiden is capable of doing this Brian.
