Oh god that would fuckin suck balls lol! I would hate to see that live, there are 13 tracks that are listed there that make me puke but again to each his own. I guess I really don't like this band,I like thier 1980's stuff and that is to me a different band altogether. Its just the song writting that kills it for me,I'll never hear another new Iron Maiden album that I like and can compare to elite albums such as the band's first 5 studio albums. And as for seeing this shit band live no freakin way,if I hate the new album I'll not see em' live and that goes for any band's new album.
This is all opinions again mine isn't the final say but for me personally being a fan of Iron Maiden since 1982 I've been let down with every album starting from 1986's Somewhere In Time" all the way till now, sure I like bits and pieces here and there but I can never get a kick ass product from Iron maiden and its a shame and a let down for me.This band is dead and I have to face it,they will never put out a studio album that I like all the way through again. Down the Irons.

Ok here is a setlist compiled only of songs from 1990 and later. Out of respect I have not included anything from the Blaze Bayley era. This actually only gives me five albums to work with. No Prayer, Fear, Brave New World, Dance Of Death and AMOLAD. I have tried to pick tracks that I think would sound good live. In some cases they are not that great on the album but in a live setting would be cool.
1) Be Quick Or Be Dead
2) The Wicker Man
3) Montsegur
4) Out Of the Shadows
5) Holy Smoke
6) Ghost Of The Navigator
7) Paschendale
8) From Here To Eternity
9) Lord Of Light
10) Wildest Dreams
11) Running Silent, Running Deep
12) The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg
13) Face In The Sand
14) Brighter Than A Thousand Suns
15) Fear Is The Key
16) Rainmaker
17) Tailgunner
18) The Mercenary
19) Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter
20) Fear Of the Dark

Thats cool jimmy,we can't all agree on everything however,I do see why you like Somewhere In Time and not really thrilled about the last 2f the band's career as neither am I. The track that kills me that I freaking HATE is "Heaven Can Wait"...oohhh that song, the chorus spanks of bad ideas and Bruce's voice is extremely irritating when he sings it. AARRGGHH. That song and the chorus to the opening track Caught Somewhere In Time is almost equally irritatiing to me just as the AMOLAD is irritating to almost everyone else.
So how about a Maiden tour with just them playing songs from 1990 -2006? That to me would be absolutely lame.

Somewhere In Time is the most under-rated Maiden album. I don't think it has a weak track. Some people might say De Ja Vu, Sea Of Madness or The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner are not that great but I reckon they are cool songs. It also has top notch cover artwork and three songs that are Maiden classics, Wasted Years, Stranger In A Strange Land and Heaven Can Wait.

Hey Diamond, so how is "A Matter Of Life And Death" that you described as a "great album" and 8 out of ten songs reminds you of "Piece of Mind" and "Powerslave" of the elite 80's era Maiden a let down? Now look who's contradicting themselves?
