Travel In Stygian last track on album
Actually the vocalist on this album which is thier 2nd is a guy named John Greely, and the band's first album the vocalist is a guy named Gene Adam. These are the only 2 Iced Earth albums I care for,Matt Barlow is vocals on the band's 3rd album and every album after that untill he left and Ripper came in.
I don't care for Barlow's vocals only because he reminds me too much of a cross between Geoff Tate of Queensryche and Paul Stanley of Kiss,it just messes with my head, the music is all cool but those vocals...I feel like I'm listening to Kiss and Queensryche while its still Iced Earth so I've never been able to get into Barlow, but he is a good vocalist. Yeah musically there are some heavy 80's Metallica riffs on there but there are still some Maiden influences as well. But the whole album is excellent and real masterpiece of heavy metal and good solos ect...
That's pretty good stuff, sounds more Metallica than anything. I've always liked Matt Barlows voice.

Brian, have you ever heard the album "Night Of The Stormrider" (1992) from Iced Earth? Its a mix of musically "Iron Maiden" and old 80's Metallica with some small Judas Priest influences but Maiden influences are heard throughout the LP. The vocalsit isn't nowhere near Bruce but he is not bad.Give it a listen...also check out at the 1:49 mark where it reeks musically and influence of The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner....its not a rip off but there definately are some Maiden influences....
Total killer traditional heavy metal album by all means a must have.

Yeah ElDorado is weak. I'll admit its better than Saxon's single "Live To Rock" off thier last album 2009's Into The Labyrinth as that song sucks balls way worse than Eldorado and so does one more song off the album "Hellcat" but the other 11 songs from Into The Labyrinth totally blows away the rest of Iron maiden's The Final Frontier by FAR.
I wish Iron Maiden would do more old school "gallops" even with the progressiveness of the band I still wish they would do more normal paced tracks like they did for the majority of A Matter Of Life And Death but The Final Frontier is more like Brave New World and Dance Of Death....more Dance Of Death actually.
