Yeah Becks, it's just basically a popularity contest. Whatever band is "popular" gets in right away, which is very pathetic. Take Metallica for example, they were inducted in 2009. No way they should be in before bands like Priest, Deep Purple, Maiden, etc., because they wouldn't even exist without those bands paving the way!! If they want to let anyone in (like ABBA, etc.), then at least make categories and then have a winner from each category so that Heavy Metal is always represented and inducted every year. I'm not sure they even know what Heavy Metal even is!

Fiestly, sorry for saying correct me if im wrong, Im not sure if thy are in. But, all the bands I mentioned all deserve to be in. I think though, that Whitesnake may have trouble because the Hall of Fame is really American and they may not really take much notice of their contribution before 1987 so....
But I do agree, it is a joke, and should be sorted out!! |
