HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I usually don't note the "departure songs" myself, but this time it was different for the reasons I mentioned. Seemed inappropriate and it was just plain depressing.
Hmmm...I wonder if they'll keep that song for the secong leg of the US tour, IF it happens?

On the money. Oddly enough, I never would have known had you not said something. You are also right. Best for the end of a hockey game or something.

HOWEVER! I must confess.
I didn't like that they used Queen's "We Are the Champions" as their...departure song, I guess? You know, when they play the song through the venue speakers as soon as the last band leaves the stage, as if to say, "show's over"? Yeah, didn't like this one. I mean, sure, the band is a champ, absolutely no doubt about it, but I'm the one here LOSING my idols to age and retirement! Nope, felt more like a loser. Maybe that was what the band wanted us to feel after the show? That somehow we're all champions, but losers at the same time? *shrugs* Ah, well. I least I have the memories.
I dunno. Just wanted to put that out there. I can't be the only one, right?
