We are all still reeling with shock from the terrible tragedy of Dimebag's death. We send his family our sincerest condolences and our thoughts are with them at this terrible time - he was a friend of the band and we will miss him.

I have just got back from an incredibly busy few days in New York with Rob, Glenn and K.K. doing some major press, TV and radio interviews for the new album - Angel Of Retribution - we played five tracks to the media who all seemed to love them!!

Due to Hurricane Frances fast approaching Florida, (as you can see from the press release below), the last Ozzfest Show in West Palm Beach has been cancelled. We are very sorry about this but obviously there is nothing we can do - the weather is not under our control!!! We want to thank everyone who came to the shows and gave the Band such a great reception - we've had a fantastic time and we look forward to seeing you next year!! JUDAS PRIEST TO RELEASE NEW STUDIO ALBUM ON DECEMBER 28, 2004, ON EPIC RECORDS

BONUS CONCERT DVD FILMED IN SPAIN IN JUNE 2004 INCLUDED IN INITIAL SHIPMENT

The long wait for new music from the definitive Judas Priest lineup of vocalist Rob Halford, lead guitarist Glenn Tipton, lead guitarist K.K. Downing, bass guitarist Ian Hill and drummer Scott Travis is nearly over.

Judas Priest will release a new studio album on December 28, 2004, worldwide on Sony Music (Sony's Epic Records label in North America). The album title and track listing is forthcoming.

As a special bonus, a live concert DVD filmed during shows in Barcelona and Valencia in Spain in June 2004 will be included in the initial shipment.

The new album is the first from the Halford/Tipton/Downing/Hill/Travis lineup since 1990's acclaimed 'Painkiller.'

Tipton recently described the new album as "classic Priest" to 'Entertainment Tonight': "Even though we've evolved, it is recognizable Priest. The formula between myself, K.K. and Rob has been tried and tested. It was fantastic to all get back in the same room."

Quite a few of you have been asking whether Judas Priest will be doing any shows after they finish on the Ozzfest on 4th September, 2004. I've just got back from another few days out on the road with the Band - Judas Priest took Texas by storm!! It was great to be back! The Band's manager Bill Curbishley flew in to join us for the San Antonio show - we all had a great time! Afterwards, the Band, Bill and myself went out for dinner - it was really good to have the Management team and the Band all together - we had a lot of fun!!

Despite some people being misled by inference that Judas Priest are being managed by Sanctuary Management - this is definitely not the case! The Ozzfest shows have been absolutely fantastic - the reaction to Judas Priest has blown us all away!! I've just got back from a few days in the U.S. with the guys - we had a great time - very, very busy what with specials on MTV, VH1, Eddie Trunk, etc and lots of press and radio interviews including the UK magazine Kerrang! - Oh! of course - and some incredible shows!!!!

The Band and I had meetings with our new label Epic (Sony) when we were in New York - their support and enthusiasm was great - we really look forward to working with them all - We have now confirmed a release date for the new album - it will be released on 28th December, 2004!!!
A World Tour will be following starting early in 2005. More news as we finalise it!!

I've just got back from being out with the Band for a few shows - we did two fantastic shows in Spain - those Spanish fans certainly know how to show much they love Judas Priest!! They were really great!! The Band did the last show of this European leg at the Graspop festival in Belgium and now they are all taking a short break before they start back out in the US. A big thank you to all of Judas Priest's European fans for welcoming them back so warmly and ecstatically!!

Judas Priest are taking Europe by storm!! The reaction to the Band has been absolutely amazing - the fans have been going wild - the Band playing better than ever!! Yet again in Holland on Saturday bad weather nearly stopped the show but the Band and crew fought against all of the elements and went on stage to perform yet another spectacular performance!

Hi everyone - I've just got back from spending the first few days on the road with the Band in Europe! The shows have been phenominal!! The Priest are well and truly back!!
The 'Gods of Metal' festival in Italy caused some chaos!! After a day of brilliant sunshine there was suddenly the most horrendous storm - the sky turned black and the heavens opened - the roof was ripped off the outdoor stage - absolutely soaking through all of the Band's equipment - we thought we were going to have to cancel but when the rain finally stopped the Band asked their crew to do everything they could so they could go on stage that night and not disappoint all of the fans!! The crew worked a small miracle and the Band went onstage - that show was one of the best so far - the audience went wild - they were more than rewarded for waiting so long in the pouring rain!! I'll be showing you all some photos very soon!

Well it has finally happened!! The band had their first rehearsal yesterday (Monday 24th May) with the reunited line-up and it was fantastic!!! I was with the guys so was very proud to be a part of it!!
We are manically getting everything ready for the Tour - working on the new album and millions of other things!!
Needless to say the time is just flying by - it won't be long before Judas Priest step back out on those stages and blow everyone away!! The Priest will be well and truly back!!!

Hi - Jayne here again! I haven't had a chance to post any messages on the board recently as I've been up to my eyes what with sorting out the new record deal, arranging the world tour, working on the boxset, sorting out studios, stage sets, stage clothes etc., etc., etc!! I had a flying visit (literally!) to LA with Rob, Glenn and K.K. to participate in the Ozzfest press conference with Ozzy and Sharon - that was great fun! Things are pretty hectic this end to say the least!!

The band are working with the producer ROY Z on the new record and things are going really really well! Scott flew over to the UK last week and is now working on his drum tracks - Glenn and K.K. have been very busy with their guitar parts - Rob will be flying back to the UK very soon to start on his vocals and of course Ian will be laying down his great solid bass lines imminently!

We know you are all impatient but you have to trust the guys and know they will come up with a great record - they like to keep their heads down and get on with it!!

JUDAS PRIEST ANNOUNCE OZZFEST DATES!

Judas Priest are very pleased to announce that they will be joining Ozzy Osbourne for the US Ozzfest 2004 which starts on 10th July and goes through until the beginning of September. This will of course be the first reunion dates that the band will be playing in America with the original line up of Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, K.K. Downing, Ian Hill and of course Scott Travis!

Until now we had not been able to confirm that we were doing the Ozzfest as we had been asked by Ozzy & Co. to keep it quiet until after the official press conference � so naturally we respected that!!

It has come to our attention that yet again someone is trying to sell non official Judas Priest product and making out it is official. Someone who calls themself Zoom439 is trying to sell on Ebay an album entitled 'The Complete Remastered Bonus Tracks' - this is not a certified release and will probably only be a burned CDR of copyrighted material - it is illegal!! We have taken action and have Sony's legal people onto this so please do not waste your money on this inferior product. We see all the time so called 'original' autographed items of the band for sale and most of the time these are not genuine. Be careful!!

DAVE HOLLAND

We are as shocked and stunned as everyone else by this news - however, we would like to point out that Scott Travis is Judas Priest's drummer and has been since 1989.

We have not see or heard from or had any contact with Dave Holland at all since we parted company with him over 15 years ago.
