well...I decided to get informed by a reliable source (myself) and I found out that there was no mistake...in my opinion obviously...and su, I consider you did nothing wrong, you just gave some advice and this boy-girl-thing-whatever replied in a very rude way...there's no mistake...I'll say it louder: THERE IS NO MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you did good, I thought about what happened and it's ok...there's nothing you should apologize for...and there's nothing to fear, I know everything's gonna turn all right, you'll see...you did good, and obviously if someone insults you because of an advice then that person doesn't even deserves to burn in hell!!!!c'mon...what kind of person would like to have a friend who claims to be the master of cunni-whatever (being a spanish speaker this word sounds very funny and I had to check the dictionary to see why it was offensive)...and as mentioned before we all have a limit...I don't blame you because there's no reason to do it...I'm sorry but this is all wrong, and that's why I declare you innocent of being guilty(LOL)....I mean...you're not guilty at all!!!
If a person has no manners then s/he cannot expect respect from other people...as simple as this!!!!

I agree wholeheartedly Paor.
I consider you one of my best friends here too, Spa, and I also hope you do not get banned. Like Paor said, we all make mistakes, we are only human and are bound to make mistakes every so often. Anyone who thinks they're perfect deserves a one way ticket on the crazy train. You have apologised for what happened, I just want everyone to be able to move onwards and upwards. Great idea Freeze! Got my vote too.
Hiya everyone. Just popping in to say hello. Perhaps require the creator to "approve" who posts in it? That way, we could simply open a Thread and allow the regulars a place to chat without moronic, random profanity and losers that cannot control their adolescent behavior. He managed to do the "Respect Points" thing and that , unfortunately, has not been entirely effective. Short of mods (which is NOT going to happen) this would at least give us sanctuary from the lower forms of life. Too much to ask?

LOL maybe we need a argument thread, just call it the "argument thread" for name calling fighting ect..
I mean why subject all the good threads to this childish behaivior.. Just keep it in one thread. and people can go on acting as stupid as they want to be and the rest of us can just ignore the thread.
Okay On ward.... I hope everyone is having a great weekend .. Iam in heaven got my Ac/Dc tickets. and then there are the Priest men in July ... The summer is looking great!!!! Hopefully all my relatives remain in good health, or better health this year... And things will be complete... But all in all life is good!

He managed to do the "Respect Points" thing and that , unfortunately, has not been entirely effective. Short of mods (which is NOT going to happen) this would at least give us sanctuary from the lower forms of life. Too much to ask?

That way, we could simply open a Thread and allow the regulars a place to chat without moronic, random profanity and losers that cannot control their adolescent behavior. Those new members that come here and act in a civilized manner could "request" entry into the Thread and those regulars that do not care for the topic or participants could simply continue to post in the other Threads.....
He managed to do the "Respect Points" thing and that , unfortunately, has not been entirely effective. Short of mods (which is NOT going to happen) this would at least give us sanctuary from the lower forms of life. Too much to ask?

If you are refering to the Priest tickets sale thread, I already posted what I think about it there. No thank you - if there is anything we dont need is more language filtering. Good Morning, my friends!!!! It is warm and sunny here in Las Vegas. Another beautiful weekend in store. Jeez, there was SO much backreading this morning that I finally just gave up. You guys ever get carpal tunnel??? HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I see that Tony the Wonder Llama is back!! I remember him!! ALWAYS made me laugh and STILL does. Friggin hilarious! I know it may disturb a few of you but, quite frankly, we have to stop being afraid everytime there is something posted that we are unsure of or feel is a "dig". It is not always so. This particular character is funny, as far as I am concerned. The author may not be but I do not know him. I have never seen it as a threat so I don't worry about it.
Hope we have another fun day!! Let's enjoy our time here for a while!!!!!!!!!!! |

Good idea Guido. I'm going for a run tomorrow but may keep it short if my knee acts up. My leg joints have always been problematic. I remember during hockey games, my ankles would collapse FUCK that would hurt! | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Nah, I don't listen to nobody! LOL!
Becks - just thinking of either a short speed run or even a two mile walk tomorrow. Just something to keep moving. Kinda feel bad just sitting around. Tried a knee brace but worry about it rubbing the skin off on race day.
Don't plan on breaking my personal best anyway. Pretty hilly course as I understand. Never done Nashville before. |

HAAAA!!! Texting riding no handed. Too funny.
My favorite is when I see just about everyone at 7:45 in the morning crossing the street (in this VERY little town) talking on the phone. I HAVE to see them because we have to stop for them in the crosswalks by law here. I mean, who the heck are they calling? Tokoyo? Checking their stocks, perhaps?
I guarantee, if I am up at that hour not a SOUL will want to hear from me. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Saturday, April 18, 2009 12:18:12 AM) | | Becks wrote: | | LMAO! That is ridiculous! If they were truely blowing ass on the run they shouldn't be able to talk to the phone. People who drive while talking on a cellphone piss me right off. And one time, we saw a girl riding a bike with no helmet (compulsory by law here), hands off the handle bars, and was texting. CRAP! I am watching a show called "Untamed Alaska" and just saw an extreme skiier take one of the worst falls I have EVER seen. Trying to ski a peak never before done, loses control and went into a head over heels tumble of two stories per second. Hits a rock and snaps his leg to the degree that his boot hits him in the back of the head. NO HELMET!
YIKES!!! Nah, bit past my level of insanity. |

Onward and Upward friends.... | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | Good Morning. Looks as though Murray has, as usual, taken care of business and removed a tumor. Well done, as always. You know, there has been a lot of chatter here lately about behavior and what is or is not acceptable. I am always supportive of discourse and I wanted to take a moment to speak on a serious note to all of you.
Over the last couple of years, this Board has seen many changes. As we all know, change is a constant in our world. Those that find they are unable to adapt to change inevitably will succumb to its dynamic. Such is life. We all evolve or we fade away. There have been a lot of very good and very bad members that have "moved on" and are no longer with us. That is a fact. But, more importantly, we have a lot of members that remain. I choose not to lament the loss of those which no longer join us but to embrace those that do.
It is my belief that each and every member offers us something. Even those that choose a path of discord. From them we all learn to support one another and the bonds of friendship are strengthened. From those that differ in opinion, we learn alternate points of view. Certainly I do not always agree with everything that is said here but I find that I am much better for the exchanges. Our lives are enriched through the diversity we have here and that means a lot. In my case, many of you shared in a dark point of my life some time ago. You were there from the beginning and there when I emerged from the other side. I will always be thankful that you were there.
Regardless of one's political affiliation, socio-economic situation, religious beliefs or personal views, each and every one of us on this Board share a common interest...Judas Priest. Through this band, we have come together. Through our friendships, we have stayed. For all the talk and griping and accusations and snipes, we stay. And we all make friends. I often lay in bed at night and, as I drift off to sleep, I actually think of you. I picture those I have never seen and try to imagine what you look like. I can see those I have met and I imagine hanging out and talking. I recall those that have made personal efforts to spend time with me. And I smile. Sometimes, I wonder what you're doing at that moment. Are you sleeping? Are you sharing with family? Working? Listening to some Priest? HA!!!!!!
We can say what we will about some of the behavior here. As much as I have always tried to show grace and manners I realize that I am human and I get caught up in the silliness just as anyone else can. We can declare our disgust and leave. We can take shots at one another. We can complain about those that are no longer part of our group. All of this we can do. But we can also share in the unique and widely varied personalities that make up OUR Board today. That's right, OUR Board. It is ours. Yours and mine. We keep coming here because we care. We defend because we care. We argue because we care. We laugh because we care. Most importantly of all........we care.

So true, Spa. No matter where people go in life, there will be those annoying pests around, pissing others off cos they think it's fun.
