You know, I am now thinking trees. The field has none. As you can see, my yard is filled with trees. Leaves perhaps? Ice wouldn't hit the hotter ground.
Fields are usually mushy as well. You can see that I am up on a hill running down into that lower field. <===city slicker grasping at straws! 85% chance it will come back and or spread into another organ... If it has not allready.. Full body scan to be done next tursday to check all of her other organs. Its allready in stage 3 going into stage 4 .. so things do-not sound good for her. I was not going to post this here.. because I did not want to disrupt the web board.. But I have had so many of you PM with your wonderful wishes, and happy thoughts.. I am lazy and I didnt want to write a zillion e-mails in PM.
Sorry if this has offended any-one...
Iam okay.. I knew what to expect.. I just know what lies ahead.. and I guess We will all deal with it one breath at a time, and one moment in time..
Thank you all for your wonderful words...

No. That is a different episode. That is one where a guy comes across a watch that can stop time and eventually uses it to steal.
Breaks it in the end and time stays frozen forever. Do do do do.....(moral? Don't be greedy. Even if you CAN stop time!) Hey Ron...do you know what update you installed? You would be wise to boot the PC into Safe Mode (hit F8 repeatedly before the stupid Windows loading screen comes up and choose Safe Mode using the arrow keys on your keyboard). Once you log into Windows, go into the Control Panel, and choose Add or Remove Programs, click the show updates box at the top and find that update. If you don't know what update you installed, you can also try Last Known Good Configuration from the DOS window that shows up when you hit F8. Let me know what happens. I'm looking forward to getting together with the family for my birthday which is next wednesday, then christmas, I love this time of year. Everything seems to slow down and I'm able to catch up with family that I don't get to see very often.
I have to say the same as you.. it has been hard lately, but I am very greatful that i have family who help me out. | | ronhartsell wrote: | | Work...Work...and Work!!
It was great to get together with my family over Thanksgiving weekend. One of my neices I hadn't seen in over 5 years. She's 17 now and thinks it's cool her Uncle Ron is a Metalhead and a Priest Fan!!! She want's to go with me next time they're in town, and I think that's pretty damn cool!!
This is the last week of work for me 'til Jan. 5th. An early Christmas present from Ford Motor Company...thank's guys!!!
My daughter is graduating High School early, in January. She'll be going to IUN in the Fall and will work and go to Vocational during the Spring. I couldn't be more proud of her than I am right now!!!
All in all, as bad as things get, there's still a hell of a lot to be thankful for.
What's been up with you?? |

Yeah every city in Australia has a reputable Irish pub (Some have several), which always overflows on St Patricks day..... Half the people in the pub are Irish... how i love living in Australia... no lack of English/Irish/Scottish around here - and we all love our drink.
My Pub is O'Malleys, it's underground so it has this perpetual gloom, the smell of Beer and of course all the cool Irish nostalgia hanging on the walls.
We also have an Irish club.. it's pretty ritzy - haven't visited it yet, and a pub called Union jacks.. it's got a little bit of everything U.K
Best thing about Irish pubs..... PINTS! and not to mention Irish beer you just can't get at other pubs. ...... Don't you just hate the southern hemisphere this time of year... not sure what the temp get's like in Sth Africa but here... I don't know what's worse, the blazing sun or the humidity.
If you can get your hands on a kiddy pool and a shadecloth or if you have and shade in your yard you can let the kids entertain themselves that way. I'm an adult and i still have fun with the kiddy pool.... It seems to be the thing to do here in Australia... every second house has one. They're cheap and can be packed away when finished with. Throw in a few pool toys, water pistols... etc... the kids will get exercise and it will keep them cool. It's been so hot that I have no idea how to combat this heat. We've had the airconditioners on all day. It's 10:43pm now and they're still running. Zoey has moved back into our bed because our room is cooler than hers. But she takes up the entire bed. As little as she is, she decides who lies where. She spreads out so that she's untra-comfortable and we have to try to fit in around her little behind lol.
Friday is their last day at playschool and it's so hot that I can't let them play outside. I'm not too keen on propping them up infront of a TV all day but we run out of games or activites and then I have no option. I can only let them out after 4pm sometimes only after 5pm.. It's that hot!
Anyone got any ideas for me? |

I have an idea!! Buy a puzzle!! You and your kids can spend lots of time together completing the picture on the box!!! Put some music on and it's a party!!! I should know. I used to put 1,000-piece puzzles together while listening to the radio, and eventually to Judas Priest.

Hi Paper...... I can relate! Went for a 4 mile run this morning... very cold weather... 10 degrees. Probably didn't stretch as much as I should've and got home... took a nice hot bath.Stretched out on the sofa to watch a litte TV and write Christmas cards. Got up after a half hr. and I could HARDLY WALK!!!! My knees and hamstrings were totally frozen! |

Good job with the race, guido!
Ouch, I can't walk either. Three weeks ago, I'm on the treadmill doing the usual 60min uphill walk and my knees decided they would like a vacation. Time to see the dr. Not the photo I am waiting to see (I didn't run with a camera) but one of me trying to boost those energy levels right after the race. Coming in the Pic of You thread.
The one I am REALLY waiting for is the one of me crossing the finish line. You know I ran with that Priest cross. Scariest thing was when they said no headphones as this is a Boston qualifier. GAAA!! Run without Priest?!? NEVER! Of course, I snuck mine in. |
