Ok cool. I had no clue. I never really payed attention to anything Priest before Rob, KK, and Glenn. I knew of Al Atkins but none of the others and didn't know anything about any riffs between any of them. I was going to go see Al Atkins last year in Pittsburgh but passed. Now I'm glad I did.

Lord Of Texas nice to see a post from you...
Yeah I think the track is cool too,for me every track doesn't have to be rocket science man. First listen reminded me of hints of Hell Patrol, and looking around online there are tons of other comments saying the exact same thing.
However for me personally I actually prefer Redeemer Of Souls, but still like Hell Patrol of course.Perhaps the negative comments, besides the few who actually don't like the track, are individuals who have too high of expectations of what they wanted to hear....
Perhaps management could of released a much more agressive track from the album to start with and that would of got more positive feedback...
In 1990 if they would of released the song Hell first as a single/video instead of the song Painkiller, then the response would of been similar.... |

Yeah I got "butt hurt" over it,actually it doesn't bother me at all Budred but arguing over something as simple and meaningless as this takes me away from all the "SHIT" we have to deal with in the real world every day.
Yeah another question....I wonder if the first track on the lp ( Dragonaut ) is an instrumental or a track with lyrics ...... |

@JD, I just posted that to play around. You seem to be a little bothered by the negativity but it's getting praise also so don't worry about it. I'm not bailing on the album yet. I know one song doesn't make a CD and every Priest CD has at least one track I don't like. I wish this song was heavier but I'm not trashing them over it. I'll wait for the disc to come out and I'll buy it and listen and if I like it I'll let everyone know, if not, I'll post about that too. (lol)

Why does every Priest song have to be some high level heavy extra smart track? The thing is,from Rocka Rolla till now they have had a massive "variety" of material, yet people think they should NOT write songs like "Desert Plains" or even "Leather Rebel"....many think this track is "weak" too but just because they intentionally wrote and created it,recorded it the way it is,those who think its weak think it should be on the Painkiller song's level of heaviness and power blah.
Perhaps those who only like every heavy track only, are not over all Judas Priest fans but fans of the heavier side of Judas Priest only, thats cool....whatever floats thier boat.
I strongly disagree that Redeemer Of Souls is "weak" in any way. Its a fuckin Judas Priest track and to my ears it is a "heavy" track. Is it thier best song ever? Imo ....no,but does it really have to be?
I think half the fanbase likes it and half doesnt.Thats average based on every Priest song feleased for the first time, nothing new here.

This track Redeemer of Souls doesnt "SOUND" anything remotely close to Made Of Metal,I don't know what your hearing man,I know you dont like the track, but there is no way it sounds like Made of metal,I cant hear that whatsoever.
If you just like the heavier side of Priest, hats off to you man.
For me,I adore thier heavy stuff,Painkiller,All Guns,Meltdown,Freewheel,Electric Eye,SFV title track,Heavy Duty....but just because they are more powerful than "Turning Circles" or "The Rage" or "A Touch Of Evil" or "Rock Hard Ride Free"... "Killing Machine", .....Dont Have To Be Old....doesnt mean they are all "better". Some may think these tacks are weak with lackluster finishes, others like myself deem them as ultra Priest classics. Just like Wheels Of Fire....it is simple, not heavier than others but kicks ass.Iys a matter of opinion man. |

@Budred....you say of course Priest has weak songs ect.....I am mot saying they dont, but who said EVERY track was "heavy"? Rob said the lp is fking heavy. Could it be he is talking about the majority of it? of course he is,look at every Priest album Budred, every one has a song thats not "full of power"....dude.....they do this "intentionally" ...
Look at AOR.....You have tracks like Demonizer,Hellrider,Judas Rising that are on a level, and when they wrote "worth fighting for" they didnt fuck up in the studio bro, they MEANT to record this track the way it sounds.
Look at Screaming For Vengeance...track # 4 and #5...side one....Take These Chains,Pain & Pleasure....you can say they are "weak"....but they are supposed to sound this way ....its called style man. I just dont get where your coming from.
Priest has tons of mediocre tracks, but to some those tracks are killer man

Of course Priest has weak songs. Every band does. Priest has 10 strong songs for every weak one though and people have learned to expect more from such a Metal band. It doesn't matter if they are 60 or not you can still make heavy music. This song has no power to it whatsoever it's mediocre and nothing in this song grabs you and says wow this is heavy. It just goes along with a steady non exciting beat with a little guitar work in the middle and then a lackluster finish. I think the majority of people who don't like it also admitted that this could still be an awesome album as long as this "is" one of the weaker ones and not similar to the entire cd. The comparisons to "Made In Metal" and sounding like one of it's leftovers to me is perfect. Exactly what it reminds me of. I just hope the rest of it is good.

Head Banger totally right? Its like these so called Priest fans somehow have heard a Priest album where every track is like the song Metal Meltdown?
We are still yet to hear such an album....to be honest,I wouldnt want such a record, cause we wouldnt get "the other side" of Judas Priest.
Im not saying we all have to like this new Track but after especially they are now over 60 and they arent even experimenting this time....and people are still bitc hing about it.....
Not saying Revolution is a crappy song, but I believe this track is much better....I think you do too....imagine if this were in place of Revolution....it would of made AOR that much better!
Yeah, the trashing of the new track is fuckin over rated trend.

@grinder...... Duh.....dude I LOVE Rocka Rolla and every song I mentioned! My point is this song is not much different. If any of those songs were released today, you would be whining calling them weak too. Some Heads Are Gonna Roll.....yes,I bought Defenders in 1984 when it came out when I was 14.....been into Priest scince 1981 religiously so dont need the history leason guy....
If Some Heads Are Gonna Roll came out right now instead of 1984 YOU along with other wankers would call it "weak". Hands down.,especially if you think this track is weak. I dont think SHAGR is weak, but you would. Pain And Pleasure....same thing dude...yes I love that track....but you would be bitching right now if they released Pain And Pleasure instead of Redeemer Of Souls had it wasnt released in 1982. The song isnt fucking "weak"....every Priest track isnt Painkiller.Think about it bud. |

You are clearly delusional. Rocka Rolla was not boring, just wasn't produced very well. The songwriting was inspired, the guitar work was incredible, and no one on the planet could match Rob's vocals. Maybe you don't like it because it is not "metal" but Priest wasn't a metal band back then. Dreamer Deceiver boring? Rock Hard, Ride Free? Put down that pipe because it is destroying your brain. And for the record I didn't call the new song boring, I called it weak. Which is exactly what it is.

I'm glad K.K. went golfing, and the rest of the band continued to put out classic metal. Especially at this age.... If Downing would of stayed and got along with the rest of the band, then this album would of been Nostradamus #2.
If this song is weak and boring, then so is the entire Rocka Rolla lp...Epitaph,and Dreamer Deceiver,Side 2 of Sin After Sin,White Heat,Killing Machine,The Rage...Desert Plains,Pain & Pleasure,Rock Hard Ride Free,Hell Patrol,Leather Rebel....A Touch Of Evil....these are just a few to name that....if these songs I mentioned were released right now instead of Redeemer Of Souls, then this entire forum would be bitching far worse....thats a fact |

You know, this may not be Priest's best out put but I'm not sure many realize how lucky we are to even be able to critisize a new Priest song in the year 2014.
not saying that because of this, people should like the track, but the actual gripes about the Redeemer track I think are over rated...Priest has tons of songs that are like this and its not "Parental Guidance" .

@JD
Sorry man but I think you are misunderstanding me a little.
Just for clarity, I am not hurt by what you said. I temper my comments not because I'm worried what others will think of my opinion but because I do "not" want to be confrontational anymore. I try to word my posts so i don't sound that way. I am not trying to force myself to like this track, I just wanted to make sure in my head that I didn't like it before I said so. I don't think it is a terrible song I just like heavier stuff. When I commented about not influencing others based on my opinions that was just humorous sarcasm because I know that most here do not share my views and I'm not trying to get anyone to. My goals here (now) are to post occasionally, speak my mind without offending, And no more confrontation even if it means backing down from it. I don't try to force myself on anyone like I used to either and more than a few posts in a day make me slow it down so I don't saturate a thread. I'll probably make this my last post for awhile because I feel I'm overdoing it now.

@Budred, Ha,yeah its all good dude.Didnt mean anything by it,just that I figured you wouldnt like this track....when ever Evans and hellrider posts, they will not like it either, just from your posts over the last few years is why I predicted that statement. If you only like 3 tracks from Painkiller, then actually AOR and this new lp didnt have much of a shot with you in the first place, which is "ok" dude,no need to get butt hurt about it. I also predict HRMG will not be thrilled with this either based on her demands for her ideas of what to expect to hear, same with spa...its all good man,we all cant like the same things.

Just listened to Redeemer of Souls. Hmmm...I dunno. It's heavy, alright. Not a big fan of the vocals, though. Doesn't draw me into the story of the Redeemer. At least not yet. Maybe after a few more listens?
My big worry, though, is the rumored amount of tracks in this new album. 17-18 songs?!? How many will be throw-away songs? Motorhead's latest album, Aftershock, has 14 songs in it. I can think of at least 5 that they could've eliminated from the final product. BUT! Who knows. We'll have to wait another three months for the Redeemer to arrive.

Love the new track! My first listen was this morning driving home from work on my phone! I think the production value is great as always. The song is really strong. I can definately hear the Hell Patrol connection in it. It sounds to me like Glenn and Richie trade some licks in the lead. One very cool thing is I can hear Richie's influence in this. I'm just guessing of course but it sounds like Glenn wrote this one and Ritchie got to put some real input into it...i think that is a great sign for the rest of the album. |

I really think it's a "builder track". Like Hell Patrol which sits between Painkiller and All Guns Blazing, I think this track is a transition track between two in your face heavy metal tracks. I really like the song as is..... but on the album itself I am sure it will sound freaking bad ass just like Hell Patrol.

I wonder if Wilkinson did the artwork again. Cdrtainly not one of my favs but, again, I have never had my original Painkiller poser framed. Always thought that it was a bit goofy. That and Priest...Live. I remember seeing that and thinking WTF?! Bunch of fingers and hands in the air? Couldn't think of anything better than that one? Both killer albums, though.
I also hear a lot of Hell Patrol in the new cut. I DO wish it built up to something (like the killer Hell Patrol does) but not a bad tune. Also glad to have so many (predicted) cuts on the new album. Kinda makes me wonder why they didn't think to split it into the "Twin Turbos" and release two separate albums.
Man, can't WAIT until July now!

Anybody that likes the song Hell Patrol has a much better chance at possibly liking the title track Redeemer Of Souls. Yes,this track could of easily been on the Painkiller album.
The response to this track is what I thought it would be,knew Budred wouldnt like it...Evans and Hellrider will trash it because it doesnt sound like the song Painkiller,ect.....thats all good.
I'm lucky today because I instantly like this track.Simplicity sometimes wins.
This track will fit in the album just fine without skipping it....17 more tracks to listen to! |

Blabbermouth's forum comments are split down the middle, half like it,half don't.... But the ones who do like it also say it reminds them of the same type of vibe/feel-sound that "Hell Patrol" has...if Hell Patrol would of been released right now instead of in 1990,we would be getting the EXACT same comments,so being a fan of the song Hell Patrol, this new track I am happy with!
This is nothing new: when Defenders was released peole were bithching about the single "Love Bites"....even when Painkiller was released, people in 1990 were bitching that it was "too havy".....you just can't win man. The thing I agree with,is that the art work isnt as good as it could be,but who cares at this point anyways...
This lp really wasn't supposed to happen anyways,Downing left and that was it....its Richie Faulkner .....he is the reason that we have a new album.....hail Richie!!! |

I was checking out the comments on Facebook. They seem fairly split as to whether people like it or not. I think on here HighwayTerror summed it up pretty good and that's why it's a little boring to me. A little guitar work in the middle but other than that it just goes on. The comment I made about it lacking punch seems to be a common gripe on facebook. One guy said pretty much the same thing I did here and he got 44 likes in a couple of hours so I don't think I'm alone on this one (other than in here). I listened to it twice more before I came here to post this so I wouldn't write something I regret. My personal opinion is that this isn't that great of a song and I really hope the rest of it is better. I understand the age thing and I'm not anti-Ritchie and I don't expect 70's/80's Priest but they can surely do better than this.

I like the new song ok.
I've listened to it four times now and I can tell the track will grow teeth when played live
my only complaint is that the song doesn't have a very wide dynamic, meaning it just goes along at the same speed and tempo without any real time changes or breakdowns, no real climax to make it truly momentous
here's to Priest !
I hope they make it back to Ohio for some shows this fall, I haven't gotten to see Priest since AOR in 05
I must see them once again ( it will be #11 ) before they knock off for good |

Hmm, on my headphones the production sounded quite beefy (which I like), and overall the song is quite good (though maybe it would work better if it was a bit shorter). Of course, we'll have to wait until the release to hear how it really sounds like. As Head Banger said the version here is probably quite heavily compressed to reduce the appeal to pirate it.

Budred,I know Painkiller isnt in your top 5 or even top 10 fav JP lps ...but I was just saying to my ears Redeemer Of Souls sounds like its in the vien of Hell Patrol, and sounds as heavy as Hell Patrol which is obviously on Priest's heaviest album under Rob.
And not saying because of it you should like the song because I know you never liked Hell Patrol either,I was just thinking how heavy do you want it to be? Any heavier it wouldnt much be Priest anymore..I like all tracks on Painkiller, but my 3 favorites are Between the Hammer & the Anvil,Metal Meltdown and Leather Rebel!

Sorry, one more. (it's a response)
@JD I'm not ready to say I don't like it yet I haven't heard it enough to be familiar with it and many many times over the years my initial reaction to music isn't always my final reaction. About Painkiller. This will sound like Blasphemy to the Priest camp but that's not one of my more favorite Priest cd's. It has three of my favorite Priest songs on it (Painkiller, All Guns Blazing and Nightcrawler) but if you remember awhile back when I posted about Priest cd's and skip tracks "Painkiller" had the most for me maybe(?) followed by Demolition which I praise. Go figure.

I'm starting to saturate this thread with the comments so I'll stop after this. I put on some decent headphones that have a fuller sound and deeper bass and it helps. That and a break between listens. It's not a bad song. I'm really not ripping it I just wish it was a little heavier, maybe emphasize the drums a little more or a little more crunch I don't know. Rob's vocals are good enough and I know the first track released won't be the best so come on July 15th.

You dont like it,so what Budred its all good.No need to "force" yourself to like it.
This Redeemer Of Souls track totally REEKS of and is in the vien of "Hell Patrol" ......"big time". But you can tell they didnt just rip off Hell Patrol, just a part of thier song writting.
Not sure how HEAVY you were expecting this to be Budred, this sure sounds like Hell Patrol, and could of easily been on the Painkiller album instead of Hell Patrol itself. Not saying you should like this track, but it could of fit on Painkiller,Priest's heaviest album.

@ JD. I don't think everyone will be bitching. Different fans like different styles and it isn't too bad of a song so it will get some praise. You know I'm a hard head but I don't think the others will be. I wish they would have called it "Taker of Souls". Redeemer makes it sound like they are waiting for one's soul I would rather them just take it. (lol)

I just gave it three listens in a row. Have to give myself a break and try again later. My initial reaction is that I really hope the rest of the cd has a little more punch to it. This reminds me of some of the bonus tracks on the remasters. A little boring and not heavy enough. If they wanted to feature Ritchie it doesn't really sound like they are. I wasn't super big on him during the tour because I thought he changed their sound and I wasn't used to it but I could tell he was talented and I think a worthy replacement so I was expecting a change and ready for it but I'm not hearing it on this track. It's only one though and that doesn't make a cd so we'll see. My opinions only matter to me and aren't meant to influence anyone.

I'm sure this entire board will be bitching about this song, the name of the album, the art work and everything else negative as well. This band has the toughest fans to please, while Iron Maiden can put out El Dorado and thier fans go nuts. Priest is damed if they do and damned if they don't. They can't win. Well, at least they have one member on board who likes this new track, hell yeah!

Was getting ready to leave for work and decided to check again. Looks like I won't have to wait after all. I'm not going to say too much negative or positive until I listen a few times but my initial reaction was complete excitement hearing a new song. It started to lose me toward the middle and end but I can't judge on one listen so I won't say more until I'm sure how I feel about it. The title doesn't do much for me but that may grow on me. July 15th isn't too long of a wait so that part of it is cool.

Awsome! "Redeemer Of Souls" ...much much better than "Revolution" by far. I like it,remember don't make it out to be rocket science here,it's just a track.
This sounds like Priest alright, this track reminds me of the same feelings and style that the track Hell Patrol has, fuckin cool!
We are very fortunate that we even have this new album to even listen to,if it were not for Richie Faulkner, this would of NEVER happened.Keep this in mind too.
Judas Priest in 2014 still flying the flag for HEAVY METAL shutting down negative comments from impatient fans like me who said they were dead after Nostrafamus....alls I have to say is WOW!

This 4 song they recorded also in 2011 year with K.K. In HAMMER magazine Rob say title of this song..
W?'ll Never Forget- a ballad, In Hell and Back-as a Grinder + Glenn giutar solo. Keep the Faith-song about Priest., Metalliser-many solo of 2 guitars.Work albim title - Metallizer. Early thay want Tom Allom producing. But Glenn do that. Later Priest re-recorded 4 song with Ritchie on guitar.

Its just like "KISS".....sigh....yes I can't stand them ( still love the memories I have of loving them in the 70's when I was a kid ) and Paul & Gene are class A assholes I know....but they just don't give a fuck what other people think, they just stay true to what they think is true....I admire that.
Priest has done this with Nostradamus....showing fans like me who were skeptical of Nostra, they did what they thought was best for them.....my only gripe was that I wanted another lp much sooner than 6 years later ha.
If I end up liking this lp I will be fucking 100% stoked! |

[J.D. DIAMOND] Thursday, April 24, 2014 3:07:38 PM | |

It may have the dark textures of the nostradamus cover, but to my eyes this looks nothing like the Nostradamus character.
They are calling it Metalizer because everybody has long known there are 2 confirmed song titles,Metalizer and Never Forget....perhaps the facebook members chose the better sounding of the 2 titles. I hope the name of the new lp is something different, but if it is called Metalizer,I guess I can live with that.....that still sounds cool man.
No matter what they do,Priest will get bashed for this new album.Who cares.

I have a question if anyone wants to guess, confirm or deny. Someone posted it was going to be called "Metalizer". Someone's wish???(I don't know). Anyone hear any rumors?

Yeah, change is good, usually. I just meant the surprise of it and not knowing what to do for a minute. I used to check in without signing in sometimes. Looks like that is gone. It guarantees I don't see some of the crap though so it's all good. It's probably stupid to go by this and I only do because of their ages but I can't help but think that if Black Sabbath can still put out such a quality cd then Priest should be able to also. I do have hope.

Hey Budred,I like change and glad to see the entire Epitaph aesthetics vanish ha. Yeah looks cool,we definately have a new mystical being thats been added to the legacy.
As I mentioned already but, just reminds me of 30 years ago when they revealed Defenders Of The Faith.....
man lets hope this kicks ass. It will be months before I will be able to rate this thing for myself....I do hope we all like the LP...even Evans and hellrider....well,hellrider may deem it as another skip track album like he says AOR is,but thats a given, maybe Evans will like it and make me eat my words, that would be fine by me.
Halford did mention there were elements of Painkiller styled tracks,SFV and even a touch of BS...with it's own character ect...yeah wouldn't that be the shit if every track ended up kick ass.... |

I'm OK with the colors but it is hard to read the text. My first thought after seeing this was WTF but It's probably just a case of hating change. Hopefully I'm wrong about having to wait 2 months to be told we only have to wait a little longer. Seeing the blue and smoke as a header gives the impression of a hidden album cover just below. Kind of increases the anticipation. I so hope this is a good CD.

I was not thrilled with "Revolution" ....I still don't like the track....Lochness was just too dull, not sure why they wrote that song.
But the other 8 tracks on AOR are classic Priest. I also like the sound of that album, its very old school on pourpose the way they intended it to be.....

da da hamburger, you are so smart and we are fools
Beatrix was right, you are the first asshole in the world!
And Jerri told you once that you're spoilt, right too!
You think that you will win in this match with your team guys here..nope!
You are rung!
And if u thought that one of my posts had been banned by master , and I stopped..and everything would continue to be as it was..Again rung!
I could write to you a couple of "nice and gentle" words in russian, but you're just a stupid bread with yeasts
I tell you honestly , maybe one day we meet and I with thrust and passion will give you in the eye
Yes bullshiter, this is again me and my friends (Brian, Trixi and the others)
What again hysteria and psychopathy!
Mass effect ..Xtreme! Soon, overdose will take you under control*
Mind your eye or will stand before the stage in one briefs and without money!

Funny thing, JD? Those idiots don't even know that the house was set ablaze and burned down last year! Reaction? It generated about $50,000+ worldwide for constant monitoring of the street(s) - Heidelburg is actually a couple of blocks - $20,000+ for info on who set the blaze AND inside "hits" out for whoever did it. That arsonist best have some protection as the house (and others that were burned in late 2013-14) were icons. Couldn't buy them for all the $ in the world. Dumbasses posting about things they know nothing about here.
Personally, I liked the back of that house better. Photos from last summer.

This is Tyree walking away (snuck the shot as he is a relative recluse)

I'm sure no one cares about my tax situation and I wasn't expecting to comment on it this much. Probably my explanation more than you not understanding. Up until 2 years ago I worked a regular job that took money each pay for taxes. At the end of the year I still had to pay each year. 2 years ago I became an independent business operator (sell product to stores). I get a check (or a bill) each week for product received and sold. I save 20% when i get a check and at the end of the year go to an accountant with all my expenses and figure out what I made and what I owe. Both year's I saved more than I needed.

Better yet, that deserves a MAGIC JOHNSON (Michigan State!) behind the back pass + slam dunk!! How ignorant can a person actually BE?! The Heidelberg Project is absolutely amazing. Bet that coward wouldn't even get out of his car to see it if he (it) even FOUND it!
I was there last year and even caught Tyree posting some new albums on the house. Fantastic artist who has earned world-wide fame. Amazing part of Detroit.

Ah...the catch-all. Pay too much up front vs. the pay and have the rest due on April 15.
Still, I don't get how you DON'T have any more taken out of your paycheck but still pay into the thousands.
No matter. As anyone will tell you, pay YOURSELF first! I am lucky to have no debt at all (including house) but only after a lot of good advice / readings.

Never had to pay?!? Damn, man! Where are your deductions?! I put new windows in my house (well, half, at least) and STILL can't claim an eco-improvement as I still fall below basic deductions. HEALTHCARE costs a fortune in this country. Biggest and easiest way to fall into debt. I have a plan (and actually had to give blood today as part of the PPO agreement) but still pay at least $2000 out of pocket each year.
Ah, I best stop. I could rant forever.

Here, I have a massive amount taken out per paycheck (taxes + "deductions" = a shitty HMO, retirement fund, term life insurance, and basic life that ALL suck as the copays prove) then the massive April bite. ALWAYS have to pay and is always in the four figures. If I sat to think out what I pay in purchase taxes on top? Hell, I might even sell a guitar.
This state has one of the highest rates in the nation. Only drives people to other states or online.

An accountant for me also. Give him $175.00 so he can tell me how much I can now graciously (sarcasm) give to my government. I save a percentage throughout the year that so far has yielded me a little back. For many years I had to pay, it sucks. Technically I'm still paying but I save more than I need so I'm refunding myself.(lol)

Age will take over eventually so I've decided that I'm not going to say anything about slowing down on the shows anymore. I went to see a Cleveland band last Saturday called Ventana. No it's not MRH ...but the keyboardist is from MRH. (lol). I like them. They wear gas masks so they (slightly) resemble the MRH look but the music is quite a bit different. More industrial sounding. I'm going to see a Columbus based band this Saturday called "Xfactor1". I think some of you guys might like them. No masks and a little more basic metal. They have a song or two with a few rap lines but they're metal for the most part. I'm surprised that they're not bigger than they are. They do a really good version of "The Stroke" by Billy Squier. I'll post a video. These two bands help me realize that there are some local talents that put on fantastic shows with no fanfare. The show next Saturday is 3 bucks. How can you beat that? Also have a couple of MRH shows next month, ROTR next month, and Mayhem in July. You only live once so I'm trying to live. (if that makes sense)

They "think" they are true Judas Priest elite fans but they are NOT!!! They are in love with the member's characters of the band, they are in love with the "character of Rob Halford in Judas Priest"....they like the rest of us don't know Rob Halford the person AT ALL.
They can't discuss guitar solos: which ones rule, which ones are ok but could of been better ect...they can't discuss Rob"s lyrics,Priest's albums: which are the top 5....which are in last place....
They don't even have opinions like this because they just say: "Oh it's Judas Priest so it's all 100% supurb and 100% flawless.
How is this a true "FAN"? Its not. This is called "OBSESSION".
I love this band, but there are albums and songs I think are under par "LIKE ANY OTHER BAND WHO HAS BEEN AROUND FOR 40 YEARS!
These fuckin idiots that are obsessed are "BLIND" . |

The band had said they were releasing a text book straight forwards heavy sounding heavy metal album with screaming vocals in 1988........they gave us Ram It Down...needless to say I was bummed out(but a far better effort than 1986's shitty Turbo LP)..........for those like Stained White Trash,Trixi,Tania the fool and other "OBSESSED" individuals of the band you will like it 100% because you like it ALL.
Those who are bitting thier nails, hoping for a metal album of "quality metal"....we are not out of the woods yet.
Those who hate my presence here?
They can roll all of thier Judas Priest belongings up into a dildo shape and fuck themselves sideways with it. Good day. |

Goody too shoes for you for "forcing yourself to like this new album no matter WHAT is on it you trendy thinks he knows it all fucktard".

Tania (the obsessed individual) To answer your stupid lame fucking question:
NO. I do NOT wear a lame "un-metal-like" fuckin baseball hat, I HATE hats, and wish they were never invented. I also wear BLACK from head to toe every day since before you were born!
I wear normal fit black levi jeans, not fuckin baggy like your lame young generation wears nowadays and looks like fucking idiots with your baggy jungle cloths looking like somebody that supports RAP.
I wear a black leather jacket with some stud rounds on it....I look "metal". You look like a fuckin young goth nerd with baggy cloths, and the dudes you hang out with wear fuckin baseball hats with thier shit jungle cloths ha. Fuckin young generation kids are a fuckin JOKE when it comes to METAL and Judas Priest! |

Personally, I'm getting excited about the album..I Can almost taste it. I think that they're gonna blow us out of the water with this new album. Knowing Judas Priest, they probably put the time and thought into all of the basics that other bands don't.
Not every fan is into rating albums, which guitar solos are better than others, discussing lyrics, ect. Some people just like the music and they don't have to sit around and over analize everything to be considered a real fan. Not saying it's wrong to analize bands and their albums, just not for everyone..I just think the real obsession here is trying to push someone's rigid ideas of being a "elite fan" on other members here. Just relax and enjoy the music for what it is. Judas Priest.

Bought tickets for Mayhem today. I can't wait for this one, MRH is on the bill. I saw them in March in Cleveland, I have tickets to their cd release party in May, I'm also going to see them in Newport Kentucky May 24th, and I'm considering a Columbus show in May also. Then I see Mayhem line-up and guess which band got me most stoked. MRH(lol).
