Well, if HRMG is right we can all expect our parcels to come via postman with two broken legs on foot in a blizzard. Harrumph!

Excellent news Nupe!! I've been keeping an eye out as well, but haven't seen anything that I don't already have.

Well, I still haven't gotten my Priest hoodie and it shipped on Saturday! Either it's crawling to me or the delivery guy is wearing it! I guess I'm just used to it getting here in 2 or 3 days after being shipped, not 7...... still no word on my other items.

Kudos on the LPs Nupe, hope you enjoy them. As soon as I get a full on old style stereo back on my possession I'll break out my old vinyls.

Good news! One of the three things I ordered from the JP store has finally shipped, a shirt......go figure.  Paor that shirt was one of the ones you ordered so hopefully, they got to you too.

And as an added bonus, I actually get to hear what the records have originally sounded like, unlike the remasters which have been "improved" afterwards. That's why I'm hunting for original used vinyls instead of buying the new Back on Black reissues.

Still looking for Sad Wings, Stained Class, Killing Machine, Screaming, Defenders, Turbo and Painkiller as original vinyls. I'm sure they'll eventually surface somewhere as well. Seven down, seven to go! [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Budred from Wednesday, February 23, 2011 9:57:10 AM)

It doesn't lose out to the Cd because albums are better. Digital makes everything simple
and is great for convenience but analog is the way to go if you prefer true sound.
Enjoy the LP's.

Finally got those used vinyls I talked about here earlier, and I gotta say I'm very satisfied with the quality. Even better, all of them are as original issues as they can get. Currently playing Sin After Sin, and it doesn't lose out to the CD at all. I'll keep on monitoring that record store's website as they seem to be the most reliable source for quality used vinyls.

Oh yeh, she's going to be the one graduate who cant point out China on a map but could tell you how to do meticulous nails and makeup. lol

I do find it funny that people pigeonhole people who like metal music as boneheads when the majority of people listen to top 40 bullshit and have no taste whatsoever.

well, I guess it's because people have more "important" thinks to worry about, like the way they look or how fat they are...It's like people who say all metal heads are satanists or the like just because of the "music" we listen to, they do not even understand the lyrics!...I know we're not singing about the beauty of paradise or that shit, but we're not killin people either, that's something else...and in college I had a very stupid classmate who during a speech about a subtitling project said that the most difficult part was burning the CD and finding what a SUB car was...and you should see her analyzing literature, I couldn't stop laughing!

It is a shame that people don't appreciate things that are so easy to find out about. Even if you never go anywhere these days you can learn so much by a simple internet search.

I did actully have a college graduate physical therapist who seriously looked at me once durring a conversation and asked me where Greece was. I know my face must have betrayed me as I couldn't believe that she didn't know such a simple thing. Every child at some point in time learns about the Greeks by third grade! It does amaze me that people don't even know simple geography.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! are you fu%&$ serious!?!?!!? can't believe it!! well, actually I do, I deal with "stoopid" people every single day, you never expect the nonsense they're about to say...

I think it was a great idea you made one on your own, $300 is too much for a vase

haha, ingines...wtf, I can't get over it...hahaha... well I bet it looks great, it doesn't matter if people can't distinguish their thumb from any other finger, at least you know it looks great, and they should feel like idiots not even knowing what's it all about, so don't worry about that...personally I think it's a shame people do not appreciate all world history, and sometimes they don't even know their own country's, but it's good to have some smart people around

They go along with a large greek vase I made a few years back. I wanted one but I was not going to pay $300.00 for one. So, when I saw a pot in a local crafts store that was big and made about the right way, I took it home, sanded it down some and made my own pot. It turned out pretty good, and it now is the centerpiece of my office on the top of my bookshelves. So, the statues go with that, although I actually have to explain that to about EVERYONE at my office because they don't know shit about history or the outside world in general. One of them looked at the statues and asked me why I have "Ingines" in my office, didn't even say indians. Really, that's the stupid people I work with.

I love free shipping! The sculptures were free shipping so I guess that is maybe why just drug their feet on delivery.

LOL a trucking Co. office...I can picture that...the one I'm having in the univeristy was kind of messy because of the number of books and stuff we have, but after we got the new shelf it looks great too... and about the cost it was actually because they charge $6 for sending it to the US and the other $4 for sending it here, but the company I regularly use (don't ask the name) is free of charge...don't know why, but I don't complain either...it makes me sound like a cheap person, which I am...
