I was nicknamed the Metal Goddess back in the mid '80s by my brother and his friends. My parents were out of the house and I had Priest cranked up as loud as it could go and I was singing along. My brother and his friends could hear me around the block!! They were quite impressed and dubbed me "The Metal Goddess" since I'm such a HUGE fan of Rob's. As for Hot Rockin' - it's to be able to tell MG and me apart and because I WANNA GO, I WANNA GO, I WANNA GO....... HOT ROCKIN'

Now, see? I disagree with just about all of you (strat, as always, you make me laugh!). I was quite sincere in my post and really DO want to know more about his views. I specifically asked about his favorite artists - as in painters - not music. It is not often that one comes across such a fellow who openly admits to having been called a racist and, as such, declared that to be the reason behind his online name. Sure, sounds like it is motivated by hate. The again, it would be no stretch of the imagination that this person has done time in prison. It would explain, in part, an open declaration to only trust all things caucasian.
I see it like I do talk radio. I listen to Hannity, Rush, Savage and their ilk whenever I am able. Drives most people in the car with me on long trips crazy, in fact. While I personally think Rush is a blowhard idiot / hippocrate (yeah, I remember Mr. Oxycontin his railing against all drug users and how they should all be put in jail...until HE gets caught...oops!) I like to hear the views of someone who is so out of touch with my realm of existence (or reality, IMO). I'll watch the 700 club and would love to have open conversations with Mormons and Scientologists. I even remember watching the now infamous "Geraldo Rivera nose-breaking" show live (help me out and say you remember this, old-farts!). Such views are SO far out of my own personal belief- system that I am curious.
So, that having been said, I defend and re-iterate my original and sincere request for "Racist" to say what artists (as in PAINTERS) (s)he appreciates. Early-Byzantine? Baroque or Andy Warhol? I am genuienly curious to know as one so rarely has any open dialog with such a person in this day and age. By that, I mean CENTURY.

DF...like yourself, I was not going involve myself in this area of sociology (?)...but since you broke the silence, I think that what I have to offer only compliments your sentiments...
...of course, the only reason I joined this site is because it is dedicated to Judas Priest...but there's only 'new' news posted by the band every 1 or 2 months...so it is obviously the ppl here that keep me coming back day after day after day...although most of us never have or ever will meet each other and hang out, I do believe that I have built friendships here that will last as long as we choose to have them...I've never tlaked with anyone from most of the countries represented in this forum...and there's the 'friends' I have made right here in my own backyard (so to speak)...in JP.com I get to escape the BS in my daily life for awhile...I look forward to seeing how my 'friends' are doing, even if we don't really get to chat that much, I know everyone is up and about...I also know when ppl are going through bad times or are missing...regardless of my personal beliefs, this is my escape and it offends me when ppl bring their 'hate' here...and most of all, I really wish my 'friends' would not indulge the ppl that so openly flaunt their ignorance as I put a lot of stock in my friendships and I feel that they are 'above' this!!!... That may be so, strat. I will not argue that. I refuse to be drawn into a name-calling, finger-pointing, self-deprecating battle that will only serve to create yet ANOTHER embarrassment for this site. My point was, and remains, that we as a membership are far above this kind of thinking. To continue to respond directly to this "person" is only giving him further reason to perpetuate that embarrassment.
I do not own this site nor do I have any particular power over it or its members. I am speaking as one member that chooses to put our group before my personal desire to confront this ignorance in a public forum that should be dedicated to the enjoyment of its participants. That is what I meant previously and what I have said now. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by _strat_ from Tuesday, February 17, 2009 11:18:08 AM)

Is it a stretch to assume that he is offended by the standard black background? He is probably offended by the night too - being that its so black.
Stormfront (the URL he had) has a pretty nasty reputation. Not that its illegal or anything, but being a member there sure does tell a lot about a persons intelligence... Or the lack of it. I guess he shit his pants when the first responses started to roll in, and deleted it.
hahahHAHAHAH!!!! XD with the white backround and everything LOL!
dear if your a proud white man, why did you removed you url after I told guido about it.... not so proud now?
"I do not hate other ethnic groups, I just do not like them or trust them" LOL like Raul Garza said "I'm not a racist, I just don't like black people"
I personally invite you to visit Southamerica, you really should know how we receive peole like you here, and bring your friends too, we'll give you a nice and warm welcome .... you should come and visit these lands.. oh why not? I imagine your not like those fucking scumbags that are proud of their phylosophy and believes only behind their keyboard right? ;)

Having written that, I will note, next to fanatical religious sects, racism (of any kind) scares the piss out of me.

That is strange. Giving so much praise to Rob in one post, would he bash gays in another? Well... IDK, I think that we are overloading his mental capabilities already. Maybe he will just shit his pants and leave? [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Darth_Painkiller_0870 from Tuesday, February 17, 2009 5:41:58 AM)

You have to also wonder that being a white supremacist, what his views on gays are.
I also wonder what he thinks about Ozzy and Metallica's bass players being Latino. Do you think he likes the band, Living Colour?

Ah, lovely. Thank you for the unexpected response.
Could I follow-up and ask about your favorite white artists and bands? I am seriously more interested in the Art side as I really lack such "discriminating" tastes. What are your favorite works / artists?
(Please don't respond with that white on white background again. FYI it makes us have to highlight your words as you can't see / read them and it does seem that you wish to be understood).

Most people do not understand what the real meaning of it is anyway. If you love your people as I do you might be a racist too. LOL ;) Edited at: Tuesday, February 17, 2009 1:33:06 AM

Just when I thought the KKK was just about dead! Sad! I suppose reporting the miscreant as much as possible is about the best course of action. Though, I really want to push his buttons. Racists/facists are funny when they start going on and on about their nonsense. Oh well...
I'd rather listen to Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync and rap music before I listen to Miley Cyrus! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by _strat_ from Tuesday, February 17, 2009 4:00:13 AM)

In any case, Miley Cyrus was just on the radio. I cant think of a better way to refute the whole white supremacy nonsense.

I think you are utterly ridiculous. I know a shitload of Caucasians (I'm white too) how are dishonest and not trustworthy. One of my best friends is Latino. It's not the colour of your skin or your ethnic backround that makes one trustworthy, it's that INDIVIDUALS personality!
And since you're so "enlightened", please share with us the "true" meaning of Heavy Metal. We yearn for your keen insight and hope you decide to impart more of your "wisdom" to us.
