I have an orange Mustang. One of my favorite things about it is the uniqueness of it's color.
I've had it for four months and haven't seen another orange one until today. I went to a local pizza
shop and when I pulled up there was an orange mustang similar to mine parked in front. I drove past
it and turned on the side of the building and started backing into a spot when I noticed in my mirror
some dude inside jump out of his seat and run to the window with a panicked look on his face. He was
up against the glass trying to squint through the light. He looked at the back of my car and then ran
towards the door. When he got to the door he stopped in his tracks looked towards his car then back at
mine with a confused look. Then he came outside to talk to me. he said he just freaked out. He thought
someone jumped in his car and was moving it. He said he didn't know what the hell was going on. He
was trying to get a grasp on the situation and then he saw his car and he said he was still confused for a
second. I told him I saw him jump up and I knew he thought I had his car. I was laughing my ass off.

As far as Tony goes, I haven't heard anything about how treatment is going. I hope everything goes well for him and he is back out doing what he loves doing soon!! Sadly, it is a massive problem on the islands. Easy to understand why. You are born on the most isolated island group on the planet and have very limited opportunities as, well, you are stuck in the ocean on a freakin' island! Lots of homeless, drug problem (and all that it brings) is sky-high and a ton of "crazies" in the streets. Kinda like California loons but in rich, touristy places where they are likely to be swept under the rug so visitors don't see them. VERY striking in Waikiki as it is such a rich stretch of property. Take a car to the suburbs, though and, like any major city, you best know where you are going.
Property costs a fortune as does food as does gas as does internet, etc, etc. All adds to a sad "underbelly." While warmer, it is a breeding ground for gangs and the homeless.

I saw some of them brandishing small knives and I ran off to hide somewhere. Thankfully a police car arrived. One loud siren and both groups dispersed. 'Twas crazy.
Seems as though Hawaii would be the last place where such things happen, but apparently it does. No place in the world is safe.

One of the unspoken problems of Hawaii. Gangs, drugs and poverty. I don't really watch it but I guess that is why Dog the Bounty Hunter has so much work there. "Go with God, bro!"

Ya know, this "Ozzy Boneyard" is really getting irritating. I mean, I am all for the Oz-man but to have every other song seemingly be an Ozzy or BS tune? I notice that they play Hendrix more but all the comments are either by Sharon or someone saying how "Ozzy changed my life?!" At times, it seems like "The Osbournes" on radio mixed in with a Priest, UFO or Crue song thrown in here and there.
I am now waiting for POISON Hair Nation! My life would be complete.
Yea, and you have to hear Jack and Sharon puting their 2 cents in too !

Anybody have any clue as to when this Epitaph tour is officially over? I realize it takes time to tour the globe but when its over they can concentrate on the new album. I truely think that they only will give us one more studio LP. They have just simply wasted too much time on "bullshit" since Rob came back and was only able to give us the Retribution album and just live tours and live albums.
It really sucks balls. I can't belive Saxon are already working on the next LP...that will be out before this Priest album will be,just can't belive it. Such a great band,Rob being the Metal God ect...and this is all we have to show for all these years later......just a disappointment from a huge fan of studio work. Yeah this LP will definately be the last one Judas Priest will ever put out,so lets hope its something special and not a let down.

Seems like an unfair poll. It's like having a lightweight boxer fight a super heavyweight champion boxer.
I like both songs. Sentinel for the story, Rob's screams and the twin-axe ripping it up, and Turbo Lover for the laughs.
I'll be in the minority and vote for Turbo Lover. 'Cause I like to laugh. Plus it needs more love. HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my son wants a poll of fans here
which song is better? Turbo lover or the sentinal

MMJP, I did see that article. The world is a sick place. Facebook does not have anything to do with it. Those people were sick no matter what. But, I don't post much of anything personal on facebook because I feel it's not a place for that. It's fucked up bunny land where everyone is happy 24/7 and if they are not they are stalkers, psychos, etc.....

Not only a nice find in terms of the article you posted, I loved the article before it. Specifically the author's comments that:
I’ve seen Judas Priest nine times over four different decades. Plus a few incarnations of Halford or Fight. And yes, it’s true, I’ve walked through camera shots in one of the most important documentary films ever made (heavymetalparkinglot.com). So when I say this was one of the best Judas Priest concerts I’ve seen I have my reasons.
Oh yes, superbowl monday for us. Some people in NZ watch it, personally I hate NFL lol. I was at a stock car meet last night actually, which is like the NZ equivalent of nascar (as in spectator type etc lol) - I got shouted a ticket so couldn't say no. Not sure I'd go again lol.

I saw the line-up for Rock On The Range today. Only about six bands that I want to see, maybe fifteen total
that I could stomach. Too much money to be spending just for that and all of the bands that I would watch I've
already seen over the last two summers. I spent too much the last two summers so it's a good year to skip it.
On a different note, I finally went for guitar lessons. I had my first one today. I'm paid for two months so we'll see
how it goes. I told him I like rock and metal and of course Iron Man was first. If I can figure this out I'll make sure a
Priest song is next. It only took a year to get started but I'm doing it. I hope I can figure it out. Edited at: Wednesday, February 01, 2012 4:35:32 PM

I have a Freeview box (also known as a Free to Air box). They aren't very common and most non-tech nerds have never heard of them. Complicated to set up and get the right sat signals and far too much competition (and ease) from the three basic outlets: cable, Dishnetwork and DirecTV. I got a Free2air box both for play as well as when one of the two major satellite companies made it much more difficult to reprogram their cards. I live in rural USA so cable isn't an option here. I bought a basic package with one of the two major sat companies and did an e-prom to reprogram the card to pick up all stations. The company in question would send a different code in the data stream from time to time but you just had to have the right equipment, download the latest code and reprogram (crack) the card again. That stopped when they got wise so I switched sat companies. One just happens to carry the Tennis Channel (watching Sharapova v Azarenka as I type).
Our entire country went digital a few years back. I have a big rotating antenna on top of my house so took advantage of the government program to subsidize the digital converter boxes to still receive signals from the antenna. After all, satellite goes out with a strong fart. Now? SUCKS! I live in a tornado zone. The other night, sirens are going off all night long and, when in the past I could go to regular tv to see a local radar image, all I could see is the same pixilated, stuck digital image of some sort of old radar image. DSL internet, so that was no help and, as I said, I am in rural nowhere so the only emergency radio signal I can get is about 50 miles+ away.
It was a big political move to free up bandwidth by switching to digital here (same is happening in NZ). However, it certainly made things worse for rural america.
Well here's a quick rundown of how TV in NZ works.
We have 3 'main' free to air channels, which I suppose is now 4, who knows. We are switching to digital tv this year I believe, where people will need to buy something called a Freeview box in order to get the digital Freeview channels (as the name suggests, after purchasing said box, the viewing of these channels is free). Freeview has about 26 channels, some of which are actually radio, some of which are pretty random, some of which are local programming mostly (no sports channels, movie channels, anything like that). The other option is Sky tv, which has been around for years. There's 50+ channels, you subscribe to the packages you want, the basic package has normal channels, news channels, doco channels etc. Sports package costs extra, as does the movie package or other random stuff like the arts channel. We just have the basic package plus a channel called SoHo which screens all the decent shows like Game of Thrones.
guidogodoy wrote:
What? You don't even get that as a "local" channel?! What a shame! LOL!
Blackout. They must want you to buy tickets and actually fly over and attend.
Becks wrote:
We don't get the sport channels anymore (unsubscribed to them cos they're expensive lol) otherwise I would have watched the tennis, lol.
