The only logical question for the day. In between Judas Priest songs today, when you
check the Superbowl, who are you secretly rooting for to win? I know that sports are
unimportant in the land of Priest but give an opinion anyway. |

The last time the Princess and I were in the snow was when we were in New York recording the last CD. Woke up each morning to flurries and whatnot. It never really got nasty and so she truly enjoyed it. I suppose it was nice to look at. We had rented a SUV so driving was not a big deal. Just took it slow and left plenty of room. Stayed in at night where it was warm. All in all, it was not that bad, I guess.. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Budred from Saturday, February 06, 2010 8:29:56 AM) |

I'm curious. What is your ultimate experience with Judas Priest? Have you met them?
Did you meet your wife at one of their concerts? Were you banned from being within
100 feet of the band? No matter the experience which is your ultimate? Share your
Ultimate or any cool experiences that you've had with Judas Priest.
...Please respond, I'm pretty interested and others may be also. |

O.K., O.K. Advice taken. The post was for me and hopefully any other newbies
who may be reading this thread out of curiosity. I was hoping some of you guys
may give advice that may stop some of the annoying things us new guys do.
Orientation so to speak. I got a message from Shadow(?). I hope that's right.
It made me feel much better so I'll try to stop beating myself up now. Peace
...Long live the Priest and their fans... |

I can't think of a single one of us who hasn't open their mouths and inserted their foot, (or fingers in this case) but that is normal. Now, stop appologizing and get on with it! LOL |

I agree. Little snafu at the beginning but you have done what many have never had the common sense to do.....apologize. That speaks MILES to me about your character.
Keep it up, man. Great to have you among us. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Deep Freeze from Tuesday, February 02, 2010 8:01:15 AM) | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | Pff!! If you go to a party where do not know know anyone, you would certainly be inclined to measure your comments, right? Same thing here. I think you are doing just fine, man. Better than a lot of losers that come here and end up getting banned! We've had THAT happen more than once! You're fine, man. Just fine.

Good morning all... I went to Priest cafe today. That brought back an ugly memory.
It made me a little sick actually. What was I thinking?
Todays question is for the veterans out there...
What is the best way for a newbie to introduce himself to this site?
How can one interact without annoying the masses?
I have one suggestion. Read all my early posts and do the opposite(LOL). |

Thanks for the response. It was just a curiosity thing. Love them both regardless. As for the Led Zeppelin thing, I was incorrect. I did think that they misspelled it purposely but, as it turns out, they only misspell the "Led" part. Ah well, I am not perfect and you will find (if you watch closely) I do make mistakes from time to time. I am rather pleased to see that you guys are keeping an eye on that kind of thing! You see? You are all LEARNING!!!!! I like that. |

Hard to say what the "mainstream" thought. We tried very hard NOT to fit in with the public. We also tried very hard to be "ahead" of the curve when it came to music, always trying to be "in the know" about what was coming and what would be the next "Zepplin". That is kind of how we gauged music.. I remember one of my best friends telling me Van Halen would be the next Zepplin. Of course, this was in 1976 or 77 when they were still going by "Mammoth". |
