Okay, when I first saw the article that had "Defending our Island" as part of the title, the first thing I thought was:

JUDAS PRIEST HAVE THEIR OWN ISLAND?!?!? HOLY SHEET!
Then I realized they were talking about The UK. Wouldn't it be cool, though? Judas Priest having their own island? Where only the faithful can go and enjoy a Heavy Metal vacation? That'd be sweet!!
I dont care if its cool or manly, I dont like cats.

1. No, man. I am not saying that Beavis and Butthead should change shirts (sacrilige!...unless they changed to a JP shirt, of course) but that the Winger could be swapped out for, say, Bon Jovi!
2. Yeah, I agree that Butthead has always been smarter (hey, who pays the rent?). My comment was meant to compare the Beavis of old to the new incarnation. He seems smarter than he should be. I once heard an interview about the Simpsons and, in particular, Homer. The creators said that he should be only as smart as a dog. Another creator asked for clarification: "yes, but what BREED of dog!?" LOL.
3. EXACTYLY what I thought when I saw "Snookie!" That South Park line! HAAA!!! I told you to quit reading my mind, damnit! At least between the hours of 4-6 (-5GMT). That's GUIDO'S time!
The t-shirts have to stay as they are for two reasons:
1. There are no modern bands that would be good (or known) enough to take their place
2. I disagree with Beavis being more intelligent - I always thought that Butthead was the smart one, if nothing else because Beavis has the Metallica t-shirt. They should keep it that way.
I must admit Ive watched Jersey Shore once. It was after I watched the South Park episode ("Snooki want smoosh-smoosh!"), which was much better than the original.
