The only debt I have is my student loan, my husband and I got rid of any chance for debt quick smart. Had to buy a new car, paid it off in a year. Wedding was small, paid for that easy. Honeymoon was a big trip, but we made sure to pay for everything up front. Therefore, no unnecessary debt.

That's part of why I got contacts too, for field hockey. And also like you, I don't remember ever seeing without glasses, even though I was a teenager when I first started wearing them. My glasses broke a while ago and my husband had to guide me around the mall we were in, because I couldn't see anything properly unless it was right up close to me. It was awful.

I remember my mom told me that my doctor noticed I was losing my vision when I was about nine or ten (now when I think about it, actually don't remember seeing without glasses on). Been wearing glasses since elementary school...granny glasses at that! At around my junior year in high school I had to ask for contact lenses because I was in a dancing activity and my glasses were flying off when I was doing some crazy stunt or something. So yeah...been blind as a bat for a long time!

Lost my vision during high school. In my first year of high school (I think) a public health nurse came and tested the vision of everyone in my year. I had 20/20 vision. A year later, when I was nearly 15 I think, I was in biology class and suddenly realised I couldn't read the blackboard properly. So off to the optometrist with me LOL! So I lost my vision, or have been gradually losing it I guess, for 10 years (I'm 25 in october). What about you??

I wear my contact lenses about...hmmm... 40% of the time. In those few times I do wear them, I feel like touching the part of my face that my glasses would normally occupy just to make sure I'm not hallucinating! Plus I have those moments when I feel like running my finger up the bridge of my nose to push up an invisible pair of glasses!

Awesome Guido I use contacts 99% of the time, with mine each pair lasts two weeks, but I sleep with them in and have 1 rest day a week where I wear my glasses. Only thing I hate with contacts is when you get a bit of dust or a tiny hair on the inside of them, big OUCH! lol. Doesn't happen often though, most of the time you don't realise you're wearing them.

Hmmm...does your university offer an English major? I'm sure you'll get lots of exposure to English literature if you decide to take it. Not sure about psychology as I haven't taken any classes from that field. 

In the end, it might be best to talk to an advisor or other university friends, at the very least.

eh...yes...you're right...but in my case I would be finishing my major...the matter is if getting the acredited degree or not...because it would take like two or three more years...

about the other major I've been thinking about psychology or psychiatry...but for psychiatry I would need to finish the medicine major and it's too expensive here,and I'm not interested in studying medicine...and I also would like something related to literature but I still haven't found a major like that one

Whitesnake, still led by David Coverdale, will be the opening act. Well.. Anniversary turned out ok in the end.. went to listen to some cool music and ended up having a good time there. Zoey's birthday was.. busy as hell! Who'd have thought that a bunch of toddlers high on sugar was a good idea (lol)
I've been submitting my studies and trying to get a backlog of work done.. hard to find inspiration to write spontaneosly these days so I've just been submitting old pieces that I've already had written for a while. I'm almost run out of decent pieces so I best do something soon to bring back the creativity or I'm in poop lol.

Derek is staying (managed to win Craig over with that one.) They're still not mates yet but Craig has accepted that the kids and I want our dog to stay.

I can imagine how unbearable cold weather must be with back injuries. Summer is so good for so many reasons, I can't even begin to count them all! We're getting ready making sure we all have flu shots and get snuggled in as it starts to get closer to our rainy season. I've mentioned it here before but in the Cape, we have a mediterranean climate so we've got very wet winters with snow on the higher points. Where we live, it's like we're nestled in between a mountain range so being in a valley, you wake up one morning shivering and as you go outside, you see the mountains are all white! It does look very pretty but nothing beats the first mornings of spring.

Sorry. I had to duck out there for a bit. Yeah, pitchers LOVE Dodger stadium, too. I missed the Yanks games yesterday that was mentioned, although I did have it. Just watched LA yesterday! I will say this about fan interference; They should and do eject the idiots!  If there is one thing that absolutely sets me off, its a friggin moron reaching into the field of play and touching a live ball. HATE that!!! to begin with, ITS JUST A FREAKIN BALL!! It aint a damn GOLD BAR for cryin out loud! Secondly, it is NOT "up for grabs"... it is LIVE!  Nothing makes me smile faster than seeing the ushers walk down and grab some nimrod that touches a live ball and take him the hell OUT of the park!!!!!!!!!!  So long, Scooter!! Next time, STAY HOME and watch where you belong!!!!!!!

I saw that game! I bought the MLB package through my cable company and that was one of the series they had this weekend. I think the field is lovely! Seems like they are still trying to find the "power" area , though. Looks like it is tough to hit it out of that place! Lots of wind swirling. VERY pretty stadium, Scorp.

I am SOOO thankful that  LA re-signed Manny. I know he was a pain in the butt in Boston but he is a lightning rod in LA. Absolutely awesome in all areas!!!  He makes others around him so much better. Have you seen Either's numbers? He is blossoming thanks to Manny hitting behind him. Amazing what Manny can do when he is happy. He said it himself, better to be happy for TWO years than unhappy for eight elsewhere!
