Pero te digo, NADA más irritante que la voz de Marge en Portugués. Es interesante, preferiría mil veces dejar el audio en el idioma original y usar leyendas. Aquí hay cierto miedo de leyendas. Nunca en la tele y pocas veces en películas / cine. Hay muy pocas excepciones en cuanto a películas. "Laberinto del fauno" y "Amores perros," por ejemplo. Me parece que al americano estereotípico, no le gusta leer. Lástima. Por eso, veo muchas películas extranjeras en casa.

I agree with someone who once called Valentine's Day an "Obligation Holiday"... just because it's Feb, 14th I don't feel the desire to receive chocolates, a card, flowers that last no more than a week.. It seems contrived and unecessary. I will share a most romantic gesture from a former boyfriend/lover/ flame.... he was leaving on business , and right after he left in the a.m. a UPS delivery arrived for me-In the small box were freshly baked (still warm!) apricot raisin scones(My favorite thing) from my favorite bakery, and a note .probably one of the best gifts I have ever received. He made an effort to get this thing arranged, timed it perfectly. He paid attention to something that I liked... It was a most romantic gesture. I think a lot of men could learn from this... I am in no way negating anyone's choice in how he/she celebrate/don't celebrate VD, but sometimes the smallest, most unexpected gestures mean so much more.... Happy Metal weekend y'all! Mara.

Ah, yes. Valentines Day... Dia de San Valentin... Valentinstag... [in English, Spanish, and German, respectively...]

It's that one holiday that instantly conjures up images of hearts, chocolate, and couples smooching each other. Know what I'm planning to do on that "special" day? Wait 'til evening comes around, go to the nearest supermarket, and buy a bag of chocolate candy. Then I will come back home, glue my butt onto my deskchair, scoot it up right in front of my TV, and watch Rising in the East on DVD. I shall bask myself in the TV's light and in the images of Rob, Glenn, K.K, Ian, and Scottie...because they're my favoritest boys in the whole wide world. As a twist, I shall watch A Touch of Evil several times...just to see Glenn give off that look on his face that I so love. Ladies and gents of the Sinful thread, you know what I'm talking about...
