I read that too. It's in Heavy Metal Painkillers but I can't find it. I don't think it was DOTF as I found a quote from Ian stating it was one of his favorite albums. I will continue to search and let you know. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by tasnam1 from Wednesday, October 14, 2009 12:19:57 AM)

Spapad,
Not sure if your post was in response to my question or the question regarding Crazy Bob.
But if it was mine, I actually do not remember the article, but his comment stuck with me.
I believe it makes sense.
That was right around the time Rob quit chemicals (per se). I LOVE DOTF. But I does have "kind" of a depressing theme.
I personally could get real mellow listening to Night comes down, Heads, HD/DOTF even sentinel. Not that the music doesn't have power - it does. It is just emotional. (Especially AFTER a few scotches ;-> )
So I think that Ian could feel that way.
Plus I did read it...............

I've never heard that anywhere, sure would like to see your source. Just to be clear. Not that I don't believe you, but I do like to see it in print from a reliable source. Thanks!

Sorry....didn't think anyone cared.
Regarding which album/tour did Ian Hill say, "Thank God we are done with that album......it was so depressing." ?
Ian Hill said this right after finishing the "Defender's of the Faith" tour regarding the album.
BTW - This Outlook/view from Ian and IF shared by the rest of the band, (and what ever chemicals they may have been involved in), could have been an influence as to why Turbo was so "UPPY" in content.
Just my thoughts.
