Excellent news Nupe!! I've been keeping an eye out as well, but haven't seen anything that I don't already have.
Well, I still haven't gotten my Priest hoodie and it shipped on Saturday! Either it's crawling to me or the delivery guy is wearing it! I guess I'm just used to it getting here in 2 or 3 days after being shipped, not 7...... still no word on my other items. It doesn't lose out to the Cd because albums are better. Digital makes everything simple
and is great for convenience but analog is the way to go if you prefer true sound.
Enjoy the LP's. I bought two sculptures online at the first of this month and it took two weeks for it to get here. By it's tracking number it sat in a UPS warhouse in Oklahoma City for a week before moving an inch! I would have just as soon NOT had the tracking number as that just made me all that much more ticked off about.
At the same time I ordered something from London and paid the cheepest shipping, and it got to me before a package originating in my own country. lol

The mail probably wont slow it down that much, in some cases yes though, as I just experienced. lol
I bought two sculptures online at the first of this month and it took two weeks for it to get here. By it's tracking number it sat in a UPS warhouse in Oklahoma City for a week before moving an inch! I would have just as soon NOT had the tracking number as that just made me all that much more ticked off about.
At the same time I ordered something from London and paid the cheepest shipping, and it got to me before a package originating in my own country. lol

I do find it funny that people pigeonhole people who like metal music as boneheads when the majority of people listen to top 40 bullshit and have no taste whatsoever.

I did actully have a college graduate physical therapist who seriously looked at me once durring a conversation and asked me where Greece was. I know my face must have betrayed me as I couldn't believe that she didn't know such a simple thing. Every child at some point in time learns about the Greeks by third grade! It does amaze me that people don't even know simple geography.

They go along with a large greek vase I made a few years back. I wanted one but I was not going to pay $300.00 for one. So, when I saw a pot in a local crafts store that was big and made about the right way, I took it home, sanded it down some and made my own pot. It turned out pretty good, and it now is the centerpiece of my office on the top of my bookshelves. So, the statues go with that, although I actually have to explain that to about EVERYONE at my office because they don't know shit about history or the outside world in general. One of them looked at the statues and asked me why I have "Ingines" in my office, didn't even say indians. Really, that's the stupid people I work with.

I love free shipping! The sculptures were free shipping so I guess that is maybe why just drug their feet on delivery.
At the same time I ordered something from London and paid the cheepest shipping, and it got to me before a package originating in my own country. lol

No hats or shirts either? Wow, they really did get a run on the merchandise didn't they? I think that's great because it shows people are really interested, but I don't have that much patience to wait another 4 weeks! At least the hoodie will get here while it's still cold enough for both of us to wear them. Oh who the hell am I kidding? In Michigan, you can wear a sweatshirt until June! Good deal. Bought a hoodie myself. I'll have to check my email. It would be nice to have it while it is still cold! I guess waiting for this shipment means you actually have to have patience, which I have NONE of. HAAAA! Ok, how about a "Jughead" hat? Now one of them pointy suckers would be nice!
Seriously, I am taking even-money bets that I cave in and eventually buy that other hat as well. It'll look nice sitting next to all the guitars I don't play, art I don't hang, patches and stickers I don't want to damage by putting them on anything. *sigh* [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by spapad from Tuesday, February 15, 2011 9:06:43 PM) | | spapad wrote: | | A beanie? At $100+, what is another necklace should the razorblade prove to be different, after all? Now where is my stuff?!?! |

Oh my god, that shipping time is going back to the days of post only. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. I always hated that. Just when I'd given up hope of ever seening it, it would be on my doorstep. Don't these people realize that with the new ways things go that all of us who have the patience of a two year old are literaly stunned by this news! I have a feeling that it's the necklaces. Hopefully they get it in 1 week instead of 4! As soon as I get that necklace, I'll let you know if it's the same one that we got in 2009. AHA! So THAT is the deale-o. I have been waiting for someone to confirm or deny the razor-blade question before I placed my order and was beginning to wonder what was taking so long. Big run on merch, eh? I might just have to place that order so that it might arrive by next Xmas.
Then again, if the razor-blade IS different, I don't want to pay half its value in shipping costs. Decisions, decisions....
