OK fellas, today is the day. Don't forget to tell that special someone how you feel about them.
In case you don't have a clue it's "VALENTINE"S DAY". If this message is saving your ass,
It may be too late.
To my wife:
I LOVE YOU!
Happy VALENTINES DAY!

The only logical question for the day. In between Judas Priest songs today, when you
check the Superbowl, who are you secretly rooting for to win? I know that sports are
unimportant in the land of Priest but give an opinion anyway.

The last time the Princess and I were in the snow was when we were in New York recording the last CD. Woke up each morning to flurries and whatnot. It never really got nasty and so she truly enjoyed it. I suppose it was nice to look at. We had rented a SUV so driving was not a big deal. Just took it slow and left plenty of room. Stayed in at night where it was warm. All in all, it was not that bad, I guess.. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Budred from Saturday, February 06, 2010 8:29:56 AM)

I'm curious. What is your ultimate experience with Judas Priest? Have you met them?
Did you meet your wife at one of their concerts? Were you banned from being within
100 feet of the band? No matter the experience which is your ultimate? Share your
Ultimate or any cool experiences that you've had with Judas Priest.
...Please respond, I'm pretty interested and others may be also.

O.K., O.K. Advice taken. The post was for me and hopefully any other newbies
who may be reading this thread out of curiosity. I was hoping some of you guys
may give advice that may stop some of the annoying things us new guys do.
Orientation so to speak. I got a message from Shadow(?). I hope that's right.
It made me feel much better so I'll try to stop beating myself up now. Peace
...Long live the Priest and their fans...

I can't think of a single one of us who hasn't open their mouths and inserted their foot, (or fingers in this case) but that is normal. Now, stop appologizing and get on with it! LOL

Hard to say what the "mainstream" thought. We tried very hard NOT to fit in with the public. We also tried very hard to be "ahead" of the curve when it came to music, always trying to be "in the know" about what was coming and what would be the next "Zepplin". That is kind of how we gauged music.. I remember one of my best friends telling me Van Halen would be the next Zepplin. Of course, this was in 1976 or 77 when they were still going by "Mammoth".

Personally I love the name but I think it may have been a hindrance. Priest came out at
a time when bad publicity wasn't always good. Also I think religion had a little stronger hold
on people. They were getting ripped early on because of their name. Now to flip flop.
The publicity bad or not did get the name out there.

I think the Priest has a chance, Jethro Tull wasn't nominated. We all know he's the best hard
rock/metal band out there.(old timers will know what I'm talking about.)
Today's topic should be an easy one. Will Priest win!
I hate to say it but I doubt it. Not because they aren't deserving but because they've
never been a hit with the mainstream. (not a bad thing)
The only thing that gives me hope is the longevity and that the Grammy gods may consider that.

Only $4.50?!? I had to pay nearly $100 for last year's concert. But it was so worth it, since I got to stand in the fourth row. In front of Glenn, no less!!!
I thought Whitesnake wasn't so bad last year, even though I wasn't very familiar with their music. They were pretty entertaining. Doug Aldrich is a hottie!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Budred from Sunday, January 31, 2010 12:05:57 AM)

I got to see them. Iron Maiden(pre Dickenson) opened up and then Whitesnake. Back then Whitesnake was badass. I hate them now.
Priest blew me away. nearly 30 years later and I still love them.

I say they're both hot. KK, without any doubt, had a very sexy wild and untame personality, a trait that he still holds today. The way he handles the guitar and bends his back while playing it can make a gal think sinful thoughts. His blond hair, full lips, and blue eyes are the icing on the cake. However, I lean more toward Glenn. The faces he makes onstage while playing the guitar brings shivers to my spine. His intense chocolate brown eyes and soft, feathery hair are just goddamn gorgeous!! Plus, he's got a nice little bum. OH! And he looks HOT in his red and black leather gear. Both men are hot, but Glenn is my man.

I didn't know how to take him when I first started and that led to some of my early problems. I'm just trying to keep the peace and
and not cause anymore disruptions. I noticed today 3 people ignored me so I have a long way to go. Just curious. Besides infering
I'm an idiot what exactly does the ignore feature do. Is there any way I can see who has ignored me. I'm not going to leave dumb
messages or apologize anymore, I just have a curiosity as to who it is. Peace!

I'm surprised you didn't catch my misspelling of (Glen).

Good morning America(and the rest of the world). Things definitely seem to be looking up.
People seem to be warming up to me a little. Just makes me regret my entrance even more.
No migraine today. Luckily I only get them once about every other month or so. If you've
never had one they are quite debilitating(freeze, did I spell that right LOL). Thanks for the
positive comments, that was a shock. Long live the Priest and their fans!
Today's topic is for the fine ladies of this site. The problem is I can't think of anything, I'm a guy.
How about a twist on K.K. vs. Glen. Ladies : Who's hotter?
Fellas: Open forum, talk about anything(even if it's about
how stupid my topics are. Peace!

BTW Budred, you don't have to enter at the end of the frame in your little reply area. It will do it for you based on the page size. Now if your in a thread with lots of piccys, then maybe hit return, otherwise just trust Murray to have fixed it right. lol (Quoting Message by Budred from Friday, January 29, 2010 11:28:21 PM)

basically learning by myself. That's going well!(LOL) I went to Hellyeah and that went well. Then I went to Lastfm
and that went well. So I figured what better place than a Priest site and wow did that not go so well. Anyway. I should be
able to correct that (or deep will). Take care, I gotta check these videos out. Peace

This thread is working out better than I had anticipated. I can't do anything on here but add posts to
the threads or start new ones(no, no, no,). This started as an outlet to antagonize but it actually gives
me the opportunity to interact by bringing people to me. Like my own private chatroom. Instead of isolating me it
gives me the ability to connect. I hope you guys keep coming back. Peace
