Oh for the love of beelzebub, would you PLEASE change you name back to the original? I am befuddled by the new nomenclature. We have had a few Metal Goddesses. Most sentient creatures figure it out. IOW, HELL if I am going to start a PGMG/MGXP whenever I am talking to you!

Do you still have it? I have memory boxes for the kids. Their first outfits home from hospital; first pair of shoes etc. I'm hoping that Lambikins will last long enough to make it to the box lol.
When she saw him today at school, her eyes lit up and she grabbed him and covered him with kisses. I tried to get her to let me take him home and she wouldn't part with him. When I picked them up from school she was still clutching him.
Thats good that they found it,,, I had a blue/orange doggy I could not part with as a child..

I must get around to posting some new pics of him in pet thread. You'll be so surprised at how much he's grown! He's gotten very tall and slinky doesn't even look like a kitten anymore! Got some pics up on FB from our farm trip..I just need to resize etc but too lazy now..
Speaking of the farm: Yesterday we hada mini disaster.. Lambikins went awol (Zoey's fluff lamb that she's had since she was 3 months old) He got lost at school so we had to spend the day and evening distracting her. This morning when we got to school the teacher had found him.. the reunion was priceless lol.

Its like when my son friends come to the house...and they hear what am listening..they got that look of puzzlement... Then, they say to Carl..Ur mom is Cool...
Yesterday was pretty funny. I was on my way with my son to the shop for some new clothing when I had to stop at the redlight.
My window was open and Breaking the law was playing ( maybe a bit loud but he ) 2 guys pas me by on foot and heard the music , the spontaneously shouted " Judas Priest rules !!!! " , then the looked at the car and saw me , first they looked like " euh, she's not a metal chick" but then they make a sign to me LOL , apparantly I don't look like I love metal music but it brought a smile on there face ! :D

Good Morning!!! (Well, I think it is anyways lol)
I'm patiently waiting for my cell phone upgrade.. I've decided to go over to the dark side and get a Blackberry. I know, totally yuppie of me but what the hell.. I'm going to do it lol. Just waiting for my service provider to call me and tell me that it's there and then I'm outa here!
I know as soon as I get it I'm going to be fiddling away with it like a new toy. Speaking of toys.. I should get some dinner for tonight and then practice my drumming. I've got a new solo to learn by thursday and I haven't attempted to play it since last thursday! That's very, very bad of me lol.

Ohps... it was Ellie from Belgium. She's started with dancing and singing to "Nightcrawler"!! Then it starts to rain here!!
But she do it again - backwards (!!) 'til the sun's coming back again!!
We've been getting a lot of rain here as well, already had flood warnings...I think a lot of the flood water from last Fall froze before it could go away and then thawed this Spring, plus with all the rain we've gotten so far this year...it's just a big mess...but it's nice to open the doors and lower the screen windows now...ahhhhh, fresh air!!!!!

I like the stories I often hear with sleeping pills like Ambien. Had a guy say that he went sleepwalking over to the neighbor's house at 4am asking them to make hamburgers. Ho ho! Too funny. Wonder if he said that he'd pay them Tuesday for a hamburger today.

Far out that is quite treacherous! The worst I've done is wander in to my parents room and say to them 'Mum can you tell her to take the spiders off me and put them away' LMAO! That and wake up with my head at the other end of the bed LOL. Never injured myself that I know of [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by spapad from Saturday, May 09, 2009 3:30:43 AM)

[Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by spapad from Saturday, May 09, 2009 3:30:43 AM)

HA!!! He's a sleep talker, I'm a sleepwalker/talker. I will get up in the middle of the night and go to the bathroom, eat, most anything, and not know it. I have carried on whole phone conversations with people when I have been asleep, of course they wondered why I was a little weird, but never knew I was dead asleep. LOL Talked to a boyfriend years ago for almost an hour and then when my sister asked me about him the next day, I said I don't want to talk about that fool he didn't even have the class to call me last night. Then I found out he did and I still to this day don't know what I said, because he would not tell me. LOL [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Ellieke from Saturday, May 09, 2009 2:36:21 AM)

Right. Well, it certainly has been an "eventful" evening! I know I have had about all I can take! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do believe it is time for a shower and then I will go lay down and watch the Manny-less Dodgers play!
To all: I hope that tomorrow finds us whole and happy. Together again and as a family. That is why we come here and why we stay. Good Evening, my friends.

Morning everyone! Hope all is well for the metal family!
Sounds awesome about your drums Joe! I haven't played as much as I have been since my husband got home, but it's all good, he has been away for so long he has earned some of my precious drumming time to himself LOL! I love thursdays! I had an amazing drumming lesson today and have got a new solo to practice. Things are getting really nice and intricate now lol. Also managed to get my drums tuned properly with the help of my instructor and re-arranged the set up so that it's more practical now. Looks great, sounds great.. what more could I ask for?? Oh yeah that's right, a crash and a splash and a wicked rack! lol Still trying to be a good girl so that Santa will provide for all my drumming requirements this year lol.

All emotional. Cruising across the ocean on a massive katamaran off the coast of Porto Seguro with this music just blasting and drinks flowing, how can you NOT get into new rhythms? Still, I measure myself musically by my actual purchases. Detroit is a musical mecca of sorts. I LOVE it at the local bars where the music will go from Metal to Jazz to Motown to '80s all in rotation. Notice that "country" is missing. I guess there aren't a lot of people who "think my tractor is sexy" in the city. However, who could negate "The Devil Went Down to Georga," the Bandit's theme "East Bound and Down" or "CONVOY"?!!! Turns inside out on my finger, stuck to my nose, folded on my eyelid. It is simply impossible. Glad to find that the doc couldn't get them in either. So many people just do NOT know what it takes to record and produce AND distribute an album!! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear, this music thing is not all it is cracked up to be!!! Nice Dreams? I'll keep that one in mind. Can't rent it out this weekend, though. I'll be in SoCal!! Will be visiting my mom for the Mother's Day weekend. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Wednesday, May 06, 2009 12:14:56 AM)

The "scratch my balls" clip was from that gem of a film.

You gotta watch The Sandlot, though. It's really cool!! And one of these days I'll go to Blockbuster and rent a Cheech and Chong movie. The Mexican-Americans clip you posted was hilarious!!

Damn pretty to boot. Don't think an ogre like me has much by way of counter-attack! I am actually more interested into how she is going to "reshape my face" with her professional choice of glasses. I am thinking Elvis Costello, myself. HAAAAAAAAA!!!! "Every day I write the book..."

And why the heck are you bringing your laptop to your tub? You'll get electrocuted if it falls into the water!!! Isn't the rubber ducky enough?

It is only when they fog up that causes me trouble. They are trying to do themselves away, I swear.
On a similar note, I am now getting all sorts of suggestions for my new glasses. I was crushed when someone said that I looked like Harry Potter with my old ones. His were round, damnit!! Same trendy friend said she would go to Walmart tomorrow to pick out her three fav pair to "bring me out of the '80s." Her phrasing, not mine.
I'll be sure to share before doing anything drastic.

Here's a solution for your glasses-stomping: place them in the medicine cabinet. If not, then place them on the sink-countertop. When you're out of the tub, feel for them in those locations.

As for the glasses. I think they are trying to commit suicide. There is a good Portuguese expression to describe them now: ganso. Completely bent out of shape. Wearing them as I type and surprised that they are still on my face. Nothing a little duct tape can't fix. HAAAAAA!!!!
I just have to stop running so I can stop soaking my knee in the tub. THAT is where the problems occur. They fog up, I take them off and stomp them when blind getting out. Trying to commit suicide, as I say. I am sure of it.

And stop laying your glasses on the floor!! Place them on the night stand or the desk if you're not going to use them!!! (Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Tuesday, May 05, 2009 10:59:34 PM)

Hey, update on the contacts. CANNOT get those bastards in my eyes! Left one, especially. Had a follow-up with the doc last week and HE couldn't do it either. I swear, medieval torture. Turns inside out on my finger, stuck to my nose, folded on my eyelid. It is simply impossible. Glad to find that the doc couldn't get them in either. Ordered me up another pair that arrived today but I can't spare the time to see him until next Tues.
Oh yeah, in the meantime, I stepped on my glasses again! Oops!
