Maybe I'll make a sign that says: I WANNA GO HOT ROCKIN'!! After 3 shows in one week, maybe they'll get sick of seeing my sign and play it? Who knows though, they may put it on the setlist without my sign.
I'm a true Priest fan and it sounds like you are too! There really isn't much that they have done that I'm not a fan of. Sure, some things aren't my favorites, but there isn't anything that I can't stand. I love the fact that they experiment and challenge themselves. I love Priest BECAUSE no two albums sound the same. Each album has it's own personality because Priest writes from the heart. How they feel at that given time influences the album and to me, that is what music is all about. I love Priest BECAUSE they don't stick to a certain "formula" like other bands do and refuse to deviate from it. I think that is the easy way out and shows little imagination and talent. I don't like bands when one song sounds just like another one and every album sounds like every other album. With everything that Priest has written, I have NEVER gotten that feeling like this song sounds like another song - and that is a HUGE accomplishment.
Hi Hot Rockin' Metal Goddess! I like your online name. I can see you also like this wonderful song. Let`s join forces and ask loudly: Please, play Hot Rockin' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I`m glad another Judas Priest fan recognizes the fine work of art Nostradamus is.
Kind regards from Chile!

Chileansteel, I completely agree! Nostradamus is impressive and brilliant and I want to hear Hot Rockin' too! Seems like they would get great audience participation on that song if they play it (please play it, pretty please?). I LOVE all the pics you posted of Priest! Keep them coming!

Hello rclappo and welcome to the board! I`m with you. I wish Judas Priest includes Hot Rockin` some time. It`s a great song that brings back so many good memories. They included it in the concert at Tokyo`s Nippon Budokan in 2005: Rising in the East. Lucky Japanese audience!!! I wanna go, I wanna go, I wanna go hot rockin`...
And you`re right, Nostradamus is impressive and brilliant!

Hello,
This HUGE Priest fan since 1980 is going to see the band for the "8th" time this August at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA. In all the previous "7" times I've seen them they have NOT done one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE Priest songs AS WELL AS ONE OF THEIR BIGGEST HITS and that song is none other than HOT-ROCKIN'!.
I am begging, pleading with the guys to PLEEEEEEEASSSSSSE include this song in their reportoire at this upcoming performance. 7 times is a good size number for a devoted fan and I realize that bands always have to pick and choose what songs they're going to perform in a particular show but my first Priest concert was back in '82. I really want very badly to see the band perform this song live.
Also, I am just blown away by what they've done with the Nostradamus album. It is one of the most impressive and inventive heavy-metal concept albums to date.
Sincerely,
Corey Lappo

Rapid Fire and You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise will be cool to hear. I don't think I've ever seen either of them live. Maybe Rapid Fire...

Thanks. All of British Steel eh? That's interesting. I'm tired of Breaking the Law and Living After Midnight, but they are part of a standard set anyway. Guess I'll have to brush up on British Steel...I know there are a lot of great tunes on it.

HAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been here for years and I just learned how recently!!! Open a Photobucket account (its free), then upload your pics there and then you can post here. All you do is click on that little, yellow mountain icon up there by the anchor and then hit "direct link" on photobucket!!! Sounds hard but, if I can do it, ANYONE can!

Newbie question - how do you post pictures? I tried using Facebook, but it didn't work.
