Hail,
although I joined in February I didn't really stick around because I had a lot to do this year.
So, I'll try to be here a bit more often!
Hail to All Metalheads!
Btw, is there a topic/thread where one can introduce himself a bit...?

Hello Metal Gods!!!!
I and thousands of fans are waiting for your near concert in Bogota, Colombia, but here we are more classic, and taking advantage that you have never been in my country, I think that you should interpret big classic that they are not in your Set list, like for example Living after Midnight.
Another thing, please in the information of the Tour they put Columbia, and it is Colombia, I would be grateful that was corrected.

Hey B4M,
We drove from Canada to see them for the 3rd time this tour (would've been 4th if not for some decapitaton mishap on a Greyhound bus that thwarted our Winnipeg concert) ...
Anyway, couldn't agree more with regard to The Pearl, at The Palms. We stayed there as well. Man, it was awesome! Greatest fans, ever. Might have had a lot to do with the fact we all wandered around the lobby & bars aftereards and could recognize each other by the black t-shirts, long hair and studded leather. Just like the party never ended.
We would go back, for sure. Our first time in Vegas, and we had a splendid freakin' time...
PS -- get a Jr. Suite... I would merely like to request a tour which would involve music from Stained Class, Demolition, Jugulator, and Rob's solo work from the Halford cd's thrown into the mix. It might sound just a little crazy but so what.. Great singing Ripper done by Rob and great music from Rob's solo work done by Priest, think of the potential. |

Hey everyone!
I dont spend alot of time on message boards, but I will definitley give it a shot, I mean, cmon, it's the Priest!
Anyways, I have been a fan since '85, and have a story to tell that eventually I will share with everyone, but for now, I'd just like to say Hey, and I am now going to bail, so I can listen to the new album!
Hope everone has a great eve!

We drove to Vegas to see the show and as always the Metal Gods successfully defended their Heavy Metal throne. Love the new album, wish they played more of it at the show as well as some other tunes but Priest just has too much good stuff to roll it all out in one show. Does anyone know of plans to play the entire Nostradamus CD in one show on the next tour? Thanks in advance for any replies. Keep defending the faith metal maniacs !!! |

I hate to break the news to you, but from my understanding (someone correct me please) Judas had never played the Hellion live. They have always used a recording.
Sorry for the news...This is business and like the Olympics they must feel it is to important to get it right and not worth messing up.
Honestly that should NOT change your view of them. That in itself is not a hugh thing.

So I went to see JP last nite in Phx, so-so opener Testament, then Motorhead came on & rocked hard. Heaven & Hell put on a good show. But I came to see JP. The show started strong, when they finally hit the older stuff, it was smokin. They I hear the Hellion, which is one of my top 3 JP songs - nobody on the stage? I see KK in one wing & Glenn in the other, neither playing?! WTH! I came to see JP, not Milli Vanilli! I thought I was watching SNL and started looking for Ashlee Simpson, but no, just JP onstage now. As disappointed as I was, it was tough to get through the crowd to get out of there before their recording of that song was over with all the people too drunk or high to notice. If I want to hear recordings, I can do that at home.
Is this too hard for them technically to play live? I can play it, move over, get a third guitarist if you can't handle it.
Anyway, somewhat less of a JP fan now....flame on, I won't be back here to see the responses...

Hi there fellow metal maniacs !!!
I am a Priest fan from Perth, Australia and this is my first post. My husband got me started on the Priest a few years back. But I wasn't a huge fan until I heard Nostradamus. Our cat is even named Judas Priest - All black with a little white collar. And he goes nuts when The Priest is playing. I wasn't even born when the lads first started.
I love the new album. It rocks and made me go out and buy the whole back catalogue (minus the Ripper years). And as a classically trained musician myself, I am continually amazed by the range of Rob!
Priest you are the living legends!!!! |

The Meet and Greet is not worth it! Don’t do it! For $400.00 you get to meet Priest for about 10 seconds. Rob was fidgeting with his cell phone when I walked in and looked disturbed when I asked him if I was interrupting. I am a Priest fan since 1975 and still am. I ain’t gonna burn my records over this but I want to warn those out there…IT AIN’T WORTH $400.00 |

I just saw Priest, for the 5th time, at Mohgen Sun, Friday night. Blew me away!!!!!! I went to the Lowell, MA show they played with Anthrax and it was kinda disappointing because there wasn't as big of a crowd as one would hope there'd be. My first time seeing Priest was Dec. 7, 1990 with Testament and Megadeth at the Worcester Centrum. That was a great show. I missed out on the OzzFest bill they were on. The Sun show was incredible. The crowd, the song list... everything. I looked around and I don't think I saw too many that were NOT singing along. I still get a kick out of how such a large group of strangers can come together in one place, and for almost 2 hours can put everything aside, and just enjoy whats going on. For that moment in time, that group of people... they're at peace with the person next to them. What better way to be at peace then at a Priest show. Thank you Priest for doing my favorite song 'Hell Bent for Leather'. It was definitely an awesome experience Friday night.

The Priest needs to come and play at Louisville, Ky . I use to see them every time they came to Freedom Hall when I was young. I watch the Rising In The East DVD every chance I get when the wife is gone and vibrate the walls. I have a compilation CD I listen to in the car and when I pull up to gas stations, etc, people comment on the cool tunes I'm listening to. You guys are the greatest! Try to make it back to Louisville!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I didn't really keep track, I was busy headbanging and rocking out. lol.
But they put on a super good show though. |

welcome Domino
We have another poster here from Devon
how was the Edmonton show? did they play a longer set? [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by DominoDemonica from Monday, July 28, 2008 3:01:24 AM) | | DominoDemonica wrote: | | Heyy Priest Fans.
Whats up?? My name is Domino and yes, as you already figured I am new to the site.
I reside in Devon, Alberta. About 30 minutes outside of Edmonton, Alberta.
I have been a Judas fan since I was about 7 years old and at that age became a metalhead as well.
My favorite Judas Priest album is Painkiller and on July 26th I saw Priest at Monsters of Rock put on by Ozzy Osbourne.
And I also met them on July 27th before the show started. Me and my dad got VIP Platinum packages in which I met Priest.
Great bunch of guys and really awesome to talk to.
My first Priest show was in 2005 though. The Reunion Tour. Angel of Retribution.
But Yeah, Nice meeting you all.
