30YEARFAN.
Hello to all Priest Fans out there! I was in the 11th row at Wa Mu theater in Seattle the 22nd of July 2008 ---- the tallent and power was awsome!
I loved that you dusted off Sinner and Dissident Aggressor, the whole show brought back so many great memories for me. I saw you at the Paramount
in Seattle when you opened for Nazareth in 1976 or77 can't remember but I do remember 1979 at the Arena, The HellBent Tour. Your like a fine wine,
just keep getting better with maturaty. You brought tears to my eyes at the 22nd show , The emotion was so intense for me ,as a fan. Thank You for 30
plus years of powerfull soul medicine. |

Whats up?? My name is Domino and yes, as you already figured I am new to the site.
I reside in Devon, Alberta. About 30 minutes outside of Edmonton, Alberta.
I have been a Judas fan since I was about 7 years old and at that age became a metalhead as well.
My favorite Judas Priest album is Painkiller and on July 26th I saw Priest at Monsters of Rock put on by Ozzy Osbourne.
And I also met them on July 27th before the show started. Me and my dad got VIP Platinum packages in which I met Priest.
Great bunch of guys and really awesome to talk to.
My first Priest show was in 2005 though. The Reunion Tour. Angel of Retribution.
But Yeah, Nice meeting you all.

In my opinion Megadeth is a superior band to Metallica. I think Dave Mustaine is brilliant. What do you guys think? |

Hello Priest-heads!
This is the Reverend Donnie Black; host of the Rock n' Roll Breakfast Show in Western Canada. I had the pleasure of talking with Mr. Tipton last week with regards to Nostradamus and the Priest's upcoming Canadian and Metal Masters Tours. The interview airs Friday, July 18th at 1:30PM PST.
You can hear it live at: www.rocknrollbreakfast.com (or download it afterwards)
As a longtime Priest fan, it certainly was a thrill talking to one of my childhood heroes!
All hail thee mighty Priest,
Rev. DB

Hello all from the depressed state of Michigan. I have been a Priest fan since 81 and saw them in Detroit in 82. I saw a quote once that said Priest saved Metal, how true. |

I am a 42 year old computer security specialist. Just retired from the USAF after 20+ years.
I ahve been a Priest fan since 1981 when spent the night at my best friend's house and discovered "British Steel" while digging through his cassettes. I listened to it constantly for the next week. I had never heard anything like it. I was able to see them on the "Turbo: Fuel for Life" tour in Dallas in 1986. Awesome part was, they recorded that show for the "Priest...Live!" album & video. I was also supposed to see them in the late 90's in Shreveport with Ripper, but it was an outdoor show and they had to cancel due to rain. (So the news item about the recent shows in Belgrade & Zagreb being the first they've ever had to cancel are not accurate!)
To me Rob has always been THE voice of Priest and, truly, the quintessential voice of metal. While Tim is talented and can mimic Rob's style, he's not Rob and Priest was never the same with him. It was a great day when Rob and Priest reunited. Can't wait till they come to the DC area in a month or two.
Rock hard, ride free!
James |
