hi, sorry if this has been asked before but with respect to the free concert ticket if one buys the album on the 17th, is that applicable for digital purchases also? I bought the album from itunes for quicker availability on the 17th, but don't see any code on the digital booklet.
do let me know.
btw, this is my first Judas Priest purchase after 17-18 years (last one being Painkiller)....I had lost touch over time, but man, priest still rocks!!!

| BEEN A FAN SINCE THE EARLY 80'S. THIS NEW ALBUM IS FANTASTIC. I AN M DISAPPOINTED THAT PRIEST DIDN'T PLAY THE SOUTH (NORTH CAROLINA) ON THE LAST TOUR. I DID BUY THE DVD. I HOPE THEY DO TOUR HERE IN THE CAROLINAS ON THIS TOUR AT SOME POINT. I TOLD MY WIFE WE ARE GOOOOING ANYWHERE BETWEEN NORTH& SOUTH CAROLINA OR VIRGINIA. | Fan for life! Just got the new disc and will play it over and over ! They could have just tried to play louder and harder like all the other bands but we all know they are not like any other band in history .Is this album like a rock opera? that DVD is out of print, but, that concert is the main feature of the DVD titled electric eye, which has all the promo vids, and some old tv spots, and that should be findable.

LiveFromThePit will be attending Metal Masters on August 30, 2008 at the Glen Helen Pavilion in CA. BEEN A FAN OF JUDASPRIEST SINCE I WAS A TEENAGER(SOME THIRTY ODD YEARS AGO), GOT THEIR LATEST OFFERING "NOSTRADAMUS" TODAY, WHAT CAN BE SAID BUT WHAT A FANTASIC ALBUM, BUT YOU'D EXPECT NOTHING ELSE FROM THE GREATEST BRITISH ROCK BAND. THE BEST THING OF ALL THEY RELEASD IT ON GOOD OLD FASHIONED VYNIL AN EXCELLENT MOVE IN MY OPINION, SO IF YOU HAVEN'T GOT IT YET I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

Hello i dont know if the band will read this but you are one of my favorite band the reason i took up my guitar and starting my band and still uses to make my own music ..keep up with the good work ..Rob halford i have a question for you is it possible to geat song lessons from you ...Do you have tips and tricks to become good singer ...

** Well i tried to post in the other threads in regards to the leaked album, but i couldnt post as it said i needed more respect points. So i decided to post here instead.
Anyway, i heard the new album and i must say i really really generally liked it, im really happy they didnt make painkiller, screaming or defenders V2.0. This album really has feeling and emotion and fits perfectly with my mood in regards to what im listening to at the moment. Robs voice is great but it has very little halford screeching, but thats ok as he made for it with heaps of emotion throughout the rest of the songs.
The solos are fantastic and sound just like priest but this time they tried something new and it worked(for me). The drumming is great sounds just like priest. What makes this album really different to me seems to be the pace and the epicness(is that a word :P) of the songs, so much emotion and so much atmosphere.
Is it different? f*ck yeah! but that doesnt mean it sucks, just dont expect 3 to 4 mins catchy anthems or painkiller expect... well dont expect anything just listen to it and have fun
